Many things were out of order - gym equipment, the pool/spa, and the ice machine on my floor. The front desk didn't inform me of any of it while checking in. Not even the location of the fitness center or the fact that the pool was closed. I would not recommend staying here unless you have to.

Towels and sheets had lots of curly black hairs on them and in the bathroom on the floor. Old dilapidated curtains with brown duct tape holding tears together. Outside view shows other rooms with this as well! Check in staff was awful to me and did not care if I was apart of the 3 day convention happening next door! Hotel staff argued about checkin in time - Even though I called and was told I would have a check in time at 11am - Was told I would get a text when room opened up since one wasn't ready. Never got any text - exhausted from an 8hr walking event around hotel- stopped and asked if a room happened to be available and was acoosted with attitude and hate! Was told that I should be happy enough with checking in an hour early! Peered at me like I was a transient - NOT A HOTEL GUEST! Haven't had such a bad stay at a hotel since 15 years ago! Do Better IHG! Won't be staying here again!

Crowne Plaza was a nice hotel in general. The lobby is beautiful and the staff were quick and helpful. We had a room on the 6th floor. The room was small but nice. The bathroom toilet was clogged with someone else’s toilet paper when we got there. Staff did not come up to unclog toilet. We had to continuously go to the lobby bathroom to use the bathrooms. We used the gym. There is a decent set of equipment, but the gym was 36°F… very very cold but I had to get my workout in ( one of the main reasons I booked the Crowne was because they had a 24 gym). Overall I give it a 3 ⭐️

The rooms are super dated, the pool was closed, and the breakfast was deplorable. The bartender was really nice, but subpar drinks. The dinner was descent, but again nothing to write home about. This used to be the nicest place in town to stay. I’d never return.

Disappointing Handicap Stay.
I booked same day and was happy with the rate. I have stayed at Crowne Plaza on multiple occasions and was expecting a nice spot. Reason for stay was a medical situation that required me to fly home. Disappointed that there was no wheelchair to accommodate my getting to my room. Instead we needed to ask for an office chair. Carpets were difficult to negotiate. Accessible room was not so great. The bathroom floor was wet at arrival. Reggie at the front desk was a rock star taking care of our 3am arrival. He did as much he could given limited tools. Condition of property suggested it might be getting ready for a name change to something like a Windam or Laquinta. Property needs a big renovation.

I stayed at Crown Plaza as that where a trade show I attended was being held. It was an attractive hotel and the room was decent. My lower rating was due to having to sit in the lobby waiting for my room for 1:15 past the advertised check in time. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but it had been a really long day, I was tired and I didn't have a car to go anywhere. The staff didn't seem too concerned about this.

The hotel is showing its age. It is definitely time for a revamp. My room was very clean, but the air conditioning did not work right my entire trip. Attempted to fix, but was never offered the option of changing rooms. The ice machine on my floor was broken, which I brought up to the front desk multiple times. Didn’t seem to care.

Hotel Dreadful
In my 50 years of being an Internationally touring musician and actor, I have never left a hotel after checking in and seeing my room. This property is the worst hotel I've ever NOT stayed in. Check-in was slow and uncaring. I was a little early - (3:45 for a 4:00 check-in) The lobby wasfilthy and my Uber driver and I had a hard time finding the entrance it was so dark - looked like they were closed. At 3:45 in the afternoon. I checked in and was given my room key on the second floor. The atrium was huge and empty and very sad. There was a stone water wall that was quite loud. I got the elevator (funky) to the 2nd floor, and the halls smelled moldy, there was a black trash bag by the elevator. I found my room - opened the door to a sad tiny room, air conditioning blasting to mask the moldy smell, and DARK. I went to the "window" to draw back the drapes when I realized - there was NO window. My room looked out on the STONE WATER WALL. I called down for another room and was told "I'll get back to you" I said I'd come down, again - "M'am I'll get back to you" I walked downstairs, got on another app, found a room elsewhere, and got an Uber. This is not a safe hotel. Sketchy, scary, moldy, and sad. The photos you have posted are so misleading you should be ashamed of yourselves I don't enjoy writing a review like this because I believe everyone is doing the best they can - especially the staff at Crown Plaza Denver - but c'mon, really? You can do better Wish I'd taken REAL photos

Don’t stay here
“Airport hotel” but shuttle is temporarily unavailable… I only figured this out after waiting for the shuttle service for a while. Everything is very dated at the hotel. The carpet in the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was a Keurig machine in the room, but no glasses or cups!
