hotel bien joli jardin piscine
j ai demandé une autre chambre car la mienne trop bruyante un couple juste a coté avec deux enfants faisait enormèment de bruit le personnel ma donné une autre chambre très bien rien a redire.dommage que pour un 4 etoiles on pourrait avoir une cafetiere a disposition dans la chambre et surtout une télè tellement petite avec telecommande sans pile et l eclairage pour entrer dans notre chambre pas d ampoule donc le soir pas facile de mettre la clé dans ses portes anciennes .quand au petit déjeuner pas de salade de fruit frais juste pomme et poire et banane un peu juste pour le genre d hotel.

Havre de paix dans une campagne haute magnifique
Cet hôtel-Resort est dans un site enchanteur, un peu en hauteur, mais très paisible. Même arrivés très tard dans la nuit, nous avons été très bien accueillis et les personnes de la réception sont vraiment très aimables et compétentes. Nous avons été surclassé dans une magnifique suite nuptiale, nous y avons dormi divinement bien, les draps étant d'excellente qualité et la décoration Old Style tout à fait charmante. Au petit déjeûner, nous pouvions nous faire un jus d'orange frais nous-même grâce à une machine et le repas que nous avons pris à l'hôtel était de très bonne qualité et exécuté par le chef Luca Francione. Nous avons également pu déguster des huiles d'olive extra-vierges dont une issue du domaine-même. La Schiacciatina (la focaccia toscane) vaut vraiment la peine d'être goûtée. Nous y reviendrons et nous le recommandons les yeux fermés.

Hotel de charme dans un cadre exceptionnel
Hôtel confortable situé dans un très beau cadre, avec une très jolie vue sur la campagne toscane. Chambre spacieuse, mobilier rustique et une salle de bains méritant un peu plus de modernisme, au niveau de la douche particulièrement. Accueil très sympathique. Excellent petit-déjeuner et très bonne table située sur une agréable terrasse.

Wonderful place
WOW! What a place! A wonderful place high up in the mountains with a great view. 800 year old building owned by 2 sisters, looks like a small medieval castle. They room was spacey with a lot of old furniture. We spent a couple of nights and it was really wonderful days hanging at the pool and exploring the area a bit. We also was told about 2 winerys in the neighbourhood that we visited and bought some great wines, separate recension.

True heaven on earth. If you want to feel like you are a king or noble Lord in the 17th century, visit Villa Campestri. We were told the place was built in 1200ad and SO many things appear as it did 500 years ago. I wish you could see my videos! The door hardware was true medieval metal and thick wooden doors. Tile floors, and ancient wardrobes and tables; books on every desk and table; BUT the luxury amenities were where needed- shower, bidet, huge sink, nice bed and tons of drawers and storage. But the true appeal to this place was the grounds and staff. The grounds were perfectly manicured with huge trees, flowers, and green lush ground cover; surrounded by an active olive trees orchard and stone/brick buildings. The estate overlooks the small village in the valley and makes you feel like a king. The service and staff were truly beyond belief. We never heard ‘no’ and ate at the restaurant for 2 dinners (superb), picnic lunch (so cute and filling) as well as a full breakfast feast. If you want to escape to another time and place, this is the place to go.

We arrived after dark and rolled into one of the best dining experiences we found on our trip to Italy. Woke to a beautiful view and enormous breakfast and roamed the property taking some of the most beautiful photos of a very picturesque location. We Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

It’s always a pleasure to stay in the Villa for some nights. All is perfect and the warm welcome is very appreciated. We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner, the lunch basket in the early afternoon. If you want to stay in a wonderful iconic Villa away from the big tourist streams but not far away from Firenze - you are on the right place. We like to come back!

Location molto bella, leggermente fuori dai percorsi classici toscani ma altrettanto meritevole. (Per gli appassionati di motori poco distante dal Mugello) Personale veramente gentile e disponibile. È molto bello rilassarsi nel parco della tenuta, Nei campi di ulivi, fare un pick nick, un bagno in piscina e dimenticare la routine della città. Un must la colazione e la cena nella terrazza della Villa centrale. Location adatta per possessori di auto elettriche in quanto vi è a disposizione una coppia di prese per poter caricare il veicolo.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at!
Villa Campestri i a little gem in Italy. Located on a mountain side with a view over the Valley, it has the perfect location. There is a peacefulness which calms your body and soul. Staff is very nice and extremely serviceminded. The hotel has an authenticity and shows the best of Italy. Breakfast is excellent! I give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing three day stay
Our stay at Villa Campestri was amazing. The hotel is in a beautiful location in the countryside outside of Florence and the views are spectacular. You will definitely need a car to get here, up the twisty and steep roads, but that’s what makes it great. The service was exceptional and staff couldn’t do enough to help. The pool and restaurants are in perfect settings although watch out for the mosquitos! The rooms are well furnished in old traditional style, although due to this the light and windows are limited. Breakfast each day was a buffet style with many options. We ate dinner twice here, once on there Monday night pizza night and the second a la Carter. Both were delicious and trying the olive oil was a highlight!

Hotellet var betydligt sämre än förväntat. Vid ankomst fick vi ett trevligt bemötande av personal. Rummet var omodernt, vi fick slut på varmvatten och sängen knakade väldigt högt så fort man rörde sig, vilket ledde till en otrevlig sömn. Vidare var poolen oerhört ofräsch, med mycket smuts och kryp som flöt runt. Maten var ingenting alls! Min flickvän beställde ravioli för 14 eur och fick totalt 5 bitar. Vi beställde även vatten som aldrig kom. Personalen var helt ok trevliga. WI-FI fungerade inte överhuvudtaget den första dagen! Vi bad även personalen att försöka lösa det men inget engagemang visades från deras sida. Avslutningsvis lät ägarens hund hela tiden och tuppen väckte oss klockan 4 på morgonen vilket förstörde HELA sömnen.

Thank you for the time spent in writing the review. When you left you did not look unhappy to me: you thanked for the stay and you showed me and one of the employ the app. you have on your mobile for the bank and money accounts. I think is fair to tell face to face what is not good in a place instead of writing bad reviews about a place you do not know at all. The system should not give the opportunity (or at least a different type of valutation) to guests that spend only one night in a place and that can not known and discovered in one night. A place, like ours, open as hotel since 29 years, and full of love and history as it is dated back to the XIII cent. Never the less we thank you again, your bad review highlights all the excellent reviews we have regulary Viola Pasquali

sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mit wundervoller Aussicht. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Zimmer sind leider ohne Klimaanlage. Abendessen und Problemlösung absolut inakzeptabel. Wir haben 1 1/2 Stunden auf unsere Vorspeise gewartet, der Hauptgang wurde nach einer weiteren Stunde Wartezeit serviert. Die Qualität des Essens war enttäuschend. Anscheinend gabe es grössere Probleme in der Küche und im Service. Viele andere Gäste waren ebenfalls betroffen und der misslungene Abend war unter den Gästen beim Frühstück noch ein Thema. Leider nicht bei den Hotel Führung, von da kam leider nichts.

Lovely olive oil hotel
My husband and I spent 6 nights in Villa Campestri during mid-October. The hotel is great, the region is beautiful and the service is excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is very nice, the olive trees‘ plantation, garden and surroundings were stunning, we loved walking around in the morning. The weather was too cold already to enjoy the swimming pool but it looked quite nice. One small disappointment was the restaurant, we had too high expectations perhaps, but we didn’t like the food there very much. I must say also, the vegetarian options were very restricted. We enjoyed a lot the olive oil degustation and the waiter gave us interesting information about different types of olive oil, their quality, characteristics, etc. The breakfast was good, with different options every day. We received an upgrade to a larger cozy room in the upper level. The first nights we barely noticed the neighbors upstairs, but then new guests came and they were extremely loud and we had a lot of noise for a couple of days. The shower was open and not very comfortable, as we got lots of water everywhere in the bathroom. Besides that, we loved our room. The region is less touristic than the northern part of Tuscany and we had a quiet time there. We absolutely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

If you are looking for lovely romantic place where to stay, then this Villa Campestri is definitely right place. Nice distance from Florence. Rooms are looking great and atmosphere is just right. Also food was very good. We travelled together with another couple and we all enjoyed our 2 night stay. Would stay again anytime.

Lovely hotel in scenic area outside Florence. Peaceful location. Refreshing swimming pool. Many antiques used in the unique rooms. Excellent restaurant for dinner using farm products and large, fresh breakfast buffet. Wonderful, helpful staff. And delicious olive oil!! Highly recommended.

The Perfect Tuscan Vacation
Perfect rooms in a perfect villa, perched above a perfect valley and village below... the perfect Tuscan setting. We enjoyed the most wonderful stay! I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff, from the ease in communicating with them before our stay, to Viola's tour of the property, and the follow up after our stay. Our meals were fantastic, too. Our extended family joined us for Easter, and we were treated like friends. We spent the afternoon enjoying aperitivo on the lawn, and were even treated to a friendly visit from the owners' sweet dogs (who live in a separate home on the property). The servers in the beautiful restaurant were so friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and especially the olive oil. We really wanted to take Giacomo home with us, but it seems the owners think he's as great as we do. We hear the location is perfect for visiting Florence (20 minutes away), but I don't know why anyone would want to leave the villa during their stay. Our rooms were incredible and spacious (and immaculate, of course), and the views of the valley and town below were breathtaking. I was particularly impressed with the "historically accurate" decor. Spot on. And there are many indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy. The photos of the property simply can't do it justice - this place is everything you could dream up about Tuscany, and more. We hope to return!
