Bien, mais
Hotel réservé pour la piscine ... qui ferme à 18:00, impossible d'en profiter en fin de journée de retour de visite de Sorrente, de la Côte Amalfitaine ou de Capri ! Loin du Centre, 20 mn minimul et plutôt 25 si l'on ne marche pas vite.

Dans l'ensemble plutôt bien !
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et servi sur une terrasse avec une vue époustouflante sur la baie de Naples. Le parc est très mignon. La piscine est également très bien (est gratuite, ouf !) L'hôtel tire profit du fait qu'on puisse accéder au restaurant, la plage, la piscine et le parc de l'hôtel 5 étoiles qui est mitoyen. Car en lui même, je ne suis pas sur qu'on puisse lui attribuer 4 étoiles. Il est regrettable de devoir payer l'accès à la plage (20 € par personne). A pied comptez 15 min environ pour rejoindre le centre ville. L'hôtel propose un servi de navette mais malheureusement payant (5 € par personne).

I have stayed here previously as it wasn’t open for my dates this year. The hotel is fantastic, staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely as were the facilities.

Although the location isn’t in the heart of sorrento , it is only a 15-20 minute walk to town and it was nice being away from the crowds. This hotel is neighbors with a very luxurious hotel which was amazing to stumble upon their outdoor Terrace for drinks while listening to live piano. The view at sunset here is unbeatable. The pool was so relaxing and equipped with a bar as well and free to use along with towels. We love the beach down below however we were disappointed to find out that it was €35 a person and not per couple as we thought. A bit pricey, but there is a cheaper beach on the other side of you prefer. That said, it was extremely quiet and private which was great. The rooms were okay but a bit dated, the bed was very hard. The balcony was awesome to have overlooking the property’s beautiful gardens. It was so nice to have breakfast included but it’s nothing special. The hotel is very loud from echos and like clockwork at 7:00am we were woken up from noise due to breakfast starting. We were also woken up by what sounded like people trying to get in our room but it was just the door rattling from movement of others. Despite that its not perfect , it is a great value for what it offers and a great location. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Our rooms were clean, and equipped with everything you need. We loved our stay in sorrento the most out of our whole Italian vacation

Great looking hotel with friendly helpful staff especially on front desk. As a 4 star hotel I would expect at the very least a bar and also somewhere to dine which neither of these to services were provided, a walk to there sister hotel through the lovely gardens was the only solution, also the swimming pool was at this hotel, very nice but if you wanted to use the beach there was a 50€ charge. Shuttle provided to main town at a charge. Room very nice with a sea view and of the gardens.

Excellent service. Very responsive staff. Went out of their way to set us up with gym access at the neighboring facility and addressed any minor concerns that we had upon check in. I recommend this hotel - very good service and amenities for the price.

Everything was an additional cost. The beech was 20.00 the shuttle was 5.00 and after breakfast there’s nothing to eat or order. My Family was at the Parco Di Principe and although it’s a more expensive it was 100% better.

its just a little way out of town only a 15 min walk which was fine as there was no local noise as long as you are over looking the gardens. only down side was the 5 star hotel that you can also use for the pool prices quite steep for food and drinks

Disappointing stay
The hotel is located in on amazing botanical and historical grounds, that is the only great thing about it. The hotel is old and needs maintenance. The hallways echo and the doors are loud so you can hear everything happening outside your room. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel as advertised. The Pool is over 6 ft deep, except for a small area on one end. Access to the beach for sun deck chairs cost 20 euros per person. Location is over a mile and a half from the main square - which means you have to walk a good distance or pay 5 euros for their shuttle (each way). Next time I would pick a nicer hotel and closer to the main square. Disappointed for the amount of money spent here per night

Great staff. Beautiful gardens and large pool. Restaurants within walking distance. Cab fares were gifh, but could walk to downtown Sorrento in 15 minutes. People in Sorrento are very friendly. We felt very safe in Sorrento.

The pool is beautiful and the location is great. Easy walk to Sorrento with lots of great dining options nearby. We took the train to the S.Angello (I think was the name) station was near the hotel which made travel in and out of town simple. Rooms are nothing special but were clean and had a nice little balcony.

Staff excellent especially Elisabetta, Stella, Luca and William. Very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Rooms simple but very clean. Garden views lovely although balcony a bit tired - a coat of paint on walls and railings would really lift it. Breakfasts good with lots of choice. Swimming pool fantastic with friendly poolside bar/snacks facility. It is 15 mins walk into Sorrento which can be a drag returning but shuttle is €5 pp each way if preferred.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very spacious with a sofa and a balcony The room we had overlooked the botanical gardens. It was enjoyable sitting on the balcony enjoying the birds and beautiful fragrance of the gardens. The staff were helpful and helped us with tour arrangements. The included breakfast was great and all the staff had friendly greetings. You could eat inside or out on the patio. A walk thru the gardens led to an adjoining hotel which gave access the the beach below

Wonderful location, but as for the hotel😰no swimming pool, poor sub standard breakfast, 5 euro for one water in the room, no shuttle service to the station, air conditioner in room only just adequate, passage light flooded the room through large gaps in door. Reception unhelpful to complaints. Food prices really overboard.Rip off!!!!!

Bodde en uke i oktober på La Residenza, og hotellet kan absolutt anbefales. Hyggelig personale, god frokost, romslige rom med godt renhold og fin utsikt mot Golfo di Napoli. Fin park/hage ved hotellet og svømmebasseng på nabohotellet som kan brukes. 15 min. å gå til sentrum langs trafikkert vei. Ingen servering eller bar på hotellet på kveldstid siden det var litt utenfor sesongen, men nabohotellet kunne benyttes.

The grounds were magnificent as was the view but not from our room. If you are going there to sleep in the room was perfectly fine the next day you can enjoy your walk on the grounds and the breathtaking view of the bay of Naples

Great hotel
Lovely clean hotel, great being able to access the neighbouring joint 5* hotel. The grounds are beautiful, lovely having a balcony even with a standard double room. Staff extremely helpful. A lovely stay.

Great location and garden
The hotel was very comfortable and clean and shared beautiful gardens and seawater pool with its higher starred sister hotel. The staff were very pleasant and reception staff especially very helpful. I would definitely advise booking a garden view room to avoid a roadside room which makes sitting relaxing on your balcony impossible due to the traffic. However, the rooms themselves were quiet and we were not disturbed at night.

Ci rincresce constatare che non sia rimasto soddisfatto del nostro hotel. Pur rispettando la Sua graditissima opinione, mi preme ricordarle che in quasi tutti gli alberghi al mondo viene addebitato il costo del parcheggio interno. Flott opphold på La Residenza Sorrento
Hotellet ligger ca 1 km utenfor Sorrento sentrum. Det har en flott og stor hage. Frokost har et variabelt utvalg. God service og hyggelig personale. Hotellet er på en måte tilsluttet Parco dei principi som har privat strand. Kan benytte denne for 20€ pr dag. Hadde et flott opphold og kan varmt anbefale dette hotellet.

Four-star hotel at a bargain price.
It's a four-star "annexe" to a five-star complex. It has no pool of its own but shares that of the 5star... but that seems to be the only reason why it's "only four-star". The staff are very helpful and informative, the situation (near Sant'Agnello station rather than the Sorrento station itself) is very good, the breakfasts top rate, the rooms spacious and well set up. We intend to come back *precisely to here*.
