0 stars if possible! In our opinion, the hotel is not safe from theft. We left a wallet with money out on the table when we went down to the pool. When we returned, the wallet and money were missing. We immediately reported this to the front desk, but they were dismissive, claiming a Manager was not on site, and telling us to wait until the next day. The next day, someone came to our room and confronted us about the theft with housekeeping present, saying the maid did enter the room but it was "impossible" that she stole the money, since she worked there for 10 years. We felt unsafe that this conversation was initiated with her present. We noted that there was no "do not disturb" sign, and we had no option to deny entry to the room while we were away. After this incident was dismissed, we went to the front desk to try to communicate, but we were told there was no proof of the theft, and nothing they could do. The staff seemed totally uninterested in assisting, and their callous reaction made us feel it was not an uncommon incident. We filed a police report, but in our opinion, the hotel should have been much more concerned with our report and making things right, as we believe the only possible explanation is the item was stolen by hotel staff. Following our experience, we found multiple other reviews mentioning theft and mirroring our exact experience. The hotel looks nice on the outside and is well located, but we feel it is not safe.

At first we were very happy with the property pool was still open bar was open hotel was nice , but the next morning we left our room for 15 mins for the complimentary breakfast and we returned to the room with the maid inside we left and let her finish . When we returned I looked around and noticed 70 euro missing from my wallet which I had left thinking 15 minutes to the breakfast a floor down was a safe bet in which I was wrong . Confronted the maid in which she said no English and the front desk didn’t seem to care about my complaint either . Don’t trust this hotel or their staff after a quick google search I found a dozen complaints about thefts during breakfast from their cleaning staff .

60’s Revisited
Older hotel with fabulous 60’s decor. It felt very much La Dolce Vita Mode! Pool area and outdoor dining excellent. Room large and comfortable. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Old Town and 5 minutes to Train Station and buses, so very well located. Reception staff were very helpful with our booking amendments.

A very nice traditional Italian hotel, very helpful staff, pool and bar were good to relax at after a days sightseeing, breakfast at the top of the hotel with lovely staff and views set you up for a good day. Easy flat walk into the centre in a few minutes. The room was traditional with a lovely balcony and a nice touch was a fridge . A very enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for 5 days! Best A.c we had in Italy!!! The room was nice and clean very comfortable. Large balcony with view! The pool and bar were very nice and looked clean. The location is great. 15-20 min walk to the center of town and is a straight road down! Also 10min from train station. All the small restaurant around are very affordable! We enjoyed our stay

I was lucky enough to get a renovated room on the first floor. Nice fit out and beautiful tiles. The pool area is excellent and the buffet breakfast was good. An easy walk to the main town.

Fantastic
A lovely hotel. We had a great large modern room with large bathroom and balcony. It is in a good location close to the town and has a nice pool. The breakfast was good. The evening menu looked really good too with lots of good vegetarian options but no one else was in there so we didn't eat there. It's a shame as the restaurant is on the top floor and has a great view.

Great location. About 7 minutes walk to Train and Bus station. Friendly staff. The only thing that I was dissatisfied with, we asked to call a Taxi to catch our tour to Capri at 7:30. The receptionist (forgot his name, but a tall with glasses middle age guy) called us a car but not a Taxi and for 7 minutes ride they charged us 30 Euro, and they even did not drop us at the Marina or the LIFT to the beach and we had to run around to find the lift & almost lost our tour. I am that glad they waited for us!

Do not waste your money staying here. All the furniture is dated. The only good thing about this property is the pool. Also, don’t book a room on level 4, every morning at 6:30am you will be woken up by the sound of scrapping chairs from above as their breakfast buffet is on level 5. Also, don’t expect the amenities or TV to be anything special. Mine didn’t work.

Older hotel with lots of character, had a small room with balcony. Perfect for what we needed, 15 min walk to center, close to convenience store and small restaurants. Breakfast was worth including, staff was super friendly and helpful. Live music by the pool bar on Tuesday night was awesome. A/C was super cool…. Great stay :)

Loved my room which was on a corner and had two balconies. Morning sun and a view over the pool towards the sea. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast room was attended by friendly waiters with lots of choice. Coffee was not great from machine. The pool was incredible although it should open way earlier than 10am and open later than 7pm. I would have loved an early morning or late evening swim. Some reviewers have complained about the fact there are no parasols which would be good, especially on the upper deck where they could have fewer loungers. Each lounger has a little fold down shade at the head end so you can read in the sun if you want to. Water in the rooms on arrival would be a nice touch. I was surprised there was no water as it was so hot. You can get some from the bar near the pool though if you like. Good walk into town along the bustling high street. A couple of lovely bistro pizzerias next door open until midnight with a great atmosphere. The lobby is very bright at night. The lights in my room were extremely bright. Would have liked more ambient lighting options. The air con was a bit patchy. Would definitely recommend booking a room on the pool side. I put the do not disturb light on in my room when I went for breakfast so was surprised to find the housekeeper in my room when I got back a little later. ‘Do not disturb’ & ‘Please make up my room’ signs for the door handle would be helpful. Overall though, a very pleasant couple of days.

It’s on the main strip and close to everything and also close to the traffic. If you are a light sleeper, opt to get a room facing the ocean. Beautiful location and great staff. Very friendly.

Good location and easy access from the road; in fact, it is on the main road. The daytime desk staff was helpful. Some employee not friendly. The martinet at the pool starts enforcing closing time at ten minutes to 7 PM. The breakfast room administrator would not let us in at 5 minutes before 7 AM even though we had a 3.5 hour trip to catch a plane from Rome airport; he would not open a minute before the 7 AM scheduled opening time, but he did have a plate available for tips for the staff. Otherwise the rooms were nice, even the ones not yet renovated.

Extra person rip off!
We were a family of 5 and had 2 rooms that were very similar. The three kids stayed in one room which had two beds. We were then charged more that the cost of the room again for a sheet and blanket on the couch. The kids rooms therefore cost twice the amount of our room even though it was slightly worse.

Front desk was super nice at check in and they gave us a complimentary upgrade to their newly renovated rooms. Clean and nice design in the room. Comfy beds. Breakfast upstairs was also nice. Only downside was the street noise outside.
