Beautiful rooms in a wonderful setting. The long walking distances and stairs to get around were limiting for my handicapped wife. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
When we first booked, did not realize it was tied to cruise line and their âland toursâ. This was the 3rd one we stayed at on our trip. Rooms were nice and very large. Very cool that they have wood burning fire places and supply wood. Only drawback is no fridges.
Resort seemed to have lots of walking paths and had outside games and nice patio overlooking river.
Our family enjoys walking - was quite a hill climb to get to our room.
Property was nice- but it is tired to the Princess tour group. Which was my fault that I did not realize that. A lot of people and very couded when it came to meal time
Serene, quiet. Would visit again. Staff were friendly, helpful. Room could've been cleaned while we were out. On one hand, they may have assumed that since we didn't need service the day prior we wouldn't the next day. On the other hand, we could've requested too or brought to their attention lack of room service. Otherwise, totally recommend.
Stayed only one night. The Lodge was nice and clean. The property is well maintained which is not so common in Alaska. The cabin rooms were spacious. But the price was on the high side. Would book somewhere else more affordable if to return for a longer stay.
The property was just gorgeous. Nestled next to a river and the views were breathtaking. Just an awesome place to spend a night. We might just go back to send a few more days before another Alaskan cruise.
Rooms are rustic and quaint, but not quiet. Could hear conversations and all the sounds from next door as if they were above us. The surrounding area is beautiful. The food is good, but expensive. Staff was mostly kind- a few seemed ready for the tourist season to be over. Would try another Princess property.
