Good hotel and friendly staff

Les + : Location is good, water with lemon and orange offered in the lobby was a nice touch.
Les - : Hot foods for Breakfast Buffet were decent, if a little bit repetitive. Standard Waffle choice, Eggs/Eggs Plus ham, and sausage or sometimes bacon.
Situation : Grocery mart nearby is handy as are many choices in food from fast to several very good sit down locations. Though a car is recommended.
While the current decor is in need of some upgrading, the staff said they were going to be remodeling soon. My only issue might have been with the hotel staff using one of the only two luggage carts to transport hotel supplies around checkout time after they were fully booked for the eclipse. A minor gripe to be sure. I think they were having trouble checking which room ordered or called about what, phone system must be a bit old. I called for some extra toiletries but had to go down to get them an hour later. Also noticed a pizza delivery that could not find the right room. Parking spots were a bit tight, leading to many people overparking into two spots a bit often.

They let us check in early, nice pool area and room was very clean.

Great staff

The front desk staff, kitchen and cleaning staff were amazing. Breakfast was always prompt and even early. My room was cleaned daily and then even washed my dishes. I did not expect that! Everyone was friendly and smiled. It was very convenient to the hospital and I walked to my class daily.

Hidden jetted tub switch

We had a nice stay but had been driving all day so we weren't too picky. everything was clean and thoughtfully placed except the switch for the jetted tub. we later found it behind the towels when my husband just used the tub to soak in and grabbed for the towel to dry off.

Pleasant surprise on x-country move

These are real suites with separate bedrooms and they're huge. Mine was over 600 square feet. My dog and my son had lots of space. I like how there was also a supermarket and liquor store in walking distance. Also a TGIF.

Convenient, 15min drive to Mizzou.

Not impressed with staff. Seemed to ha e low morale. Observed and heard manager correcting staff in dining area and near elevator in earshot of guests. Only hotel ever stayed at where there was no room cleaning on weekends.

Thank you for your feedback; please know that as of a few weeks ago, the property is under new ownership. We maintain high standards and plan to provide our guests with exceptional customer service as well as renovating the property this year. The Staybridge is an extended-stay property and does not provide services on the weekends, which is fairly standard in that model of hotel style. We hope you will give us another try in the future when visiting Columbia.

Don't stay here!

Took over 45 min after check-in to be able to get into our room. Got in our room and realized it wasn't what we reserved online. Went back to the front desk and they informed us THEN that the room we had reserved was down for maintenance. Called hotels. com to get this resolved( wee booked the room through them) and was on the phone for over 2 hours. The hotel finally said that they had someone move from a room worth a Jacuzzi tub and we said we would take it. Went to eat so they could get the room ready. Came back got in the room and my girlfriend went to fill the tub. She tried to turn it on and it didn't work! When I called down to the front desk all they could say was that they were sorry... Why tell us that it has a Jacuzzi tub if you know it doesn't work?! All in all the worst hotel stay we have ever had.

A GPS required visit!

Situation : Difficult location for driving. Nearby TGI Friday's restaurant that was great eating!
Really nice facility and staff! Very pleased with our visit. A great breakfast buffet. We were able to walk to a near by TGI Fridays restaurant. Otherwise, a bit difficult to find and exit without the help of competent GPS unit.
