Extremely cute property in a great neighborhood. There were some wonderful things about the property to include a king size bed and two bathrooms, which were the primary reasons we selected this property. I do a lot of traveling and have used many VRBO properties so I would like to offer feedback that I think would make this VRBO experience even better.
-The mattress on the king size bed was very, very hard. So hard that it was difficult to sleep. The mattress on the other bed was wonderful, but it was too small for my very tall fiance.
-There were no kitchen amenities at all. There was no coffee (pod coffee), nor hardly any basic kitchen cooking items. Salt shaker was empty and there was no cooking oil. We entertained guests and had to purchase all basic cooking items (not cooking hardware, but spices, oil, etc. This is typically provided with many other rentals) It would have been nice to have those as well as some type of "welcome basket" for guests. Nothing too expensive, but something to thank guests for selecting and welcoming them to the property...i.e. tea bags, coffee selections, small chocolates, a little "welcome to our home" note etc.
-We had to pick up dog poop from the back yard before our guests arrived (yuk)
-Decorations were very minimal...while this of course is not necessary, it's always nice to have that cozy, cared about feel inside the home.
While not a horrible experience by any means, there are definitely some things that could be done to improve upon it.
