Excellent séjour dans cet hotel. Le personnel est très accueillant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et offrent un mini-bar et une armoire de dégustation offerts et renouvelés tous les matins.

Séjour magnifique pour la fin de notre voyage. La chambre était parfaite et nous avons eu un upgrade pour un frais minime et cela nous faisait bénéficier du lounge exécutif en plus d'avoir des boissons alcoolisées et friandises dans notre chambre. Summum de l'attention est le fait qu'il y avait un fer plat dans la chambre et un presse pantalon, une première pour nous. Hôtel super bien situé à 2 pas du train, du métro et de la rue piétonne. Cela nous a permis de terminer notre voyage sur une note plus que positive. Merci à tout le personnel de l'hôtel Carlton

The hotel was a good spot, had some issues with keys at first but the staff was fantastic. We had breakfast included, as was VIP deal. Hotel is very close to Queen Street Station. Area around hotel is a bit dirty with a lot of trash.

Always a good experience Staff helpful without any prompting Afternoon Tea on the rooftop restaurant is very popular. (But not my cup of tea) The hotel could not be more center city which means that there is continuing improvement.

Housekeeping was great. For the most part. Staff was very kind. The afternoon manager was persnickety and petty. Our friends had a much larger room for much less money, and we requested equity... an equal sized room and/or a reduced cost. He reluctantly agreed (we took the reduced cost). He was acting very put out and said that our friends room was an upgrade because of wifi problems, and that he 'learned his lesson' and will never upgrade anyone ever again. Right. Good lesson to learn from this. Everyone else there was very gracious. Tired old rooms and amenities. Quiet and clean. Stupid half-door showers get water everywhere.

Excellent location. Close to train, bus stations and shopping so very convenient for travelers. We had the Scottish breakfast in the restaurant which was delicious and substantial. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

A great place to say if you are visiting Glasgow. Close to stop 1 on the hop on hop off bus tour and Queen Street station for the trains. Friendly staff and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping from it.

Only 2 lifts and one out of action, decor tired and lounge not the most aspiring but absolutely fantastic location and good value for money

Excellent location, spacious room, complementary minibar is a highlight. Funnily enough, they remembered to refill the consumed alcohol but forgot about the still and sparkling water

Grubby disappointment 😞
This room was maybe nice 30 years ago but now it's in dire need of TLC. Old, damaged, waterstained cabinets, noisy ac/heating system, holes in the bath enamel, sockets not working and general grubby feel. Add to that we had no hot water and when we reported this the receptionist didn't seem surprised "oh sorry, I'll report it". Apparently the other side of the hotel has been renovated but I felt very much like I had been dumped in the cupboard!

Great hotel but could be even better
Hotel is perfectly located but is a wee bit dated in decor Free minibar was good to have although one of the decanters (vodka) was empty on arrival Comfortable big room with slippers and dressing gown…(only 1 in the room!) It’s these wee missing details that dropped my rating down a point but on the whole very friendly staff

Property was fine. Heat in the rooms were unbearable. No opening windows for fresh air and given a fan but didn’t make a difference at all. Stayed two nights and didn’t sleep much with how stifling the room was. Spoilt our experience
