A bit outdated and definitely noisy due to highway being nearby. Having a room right beside an ice maker doesn't help the noise level either. Overall an B- hotel but convenient to Birkdale Village.

Our stay was ok except for one thing. Service, terrible service. We stayed four nights and our beds weren’t made ever. The only time we got fresh towels was after day two when I complained at the front desk. They still didn’t make the beds: Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Our stay was fine, except for a couple things that I think are probably a corporate issue. First, there were only two towels in our bathroom. I have never stayed anywhere that left fewer than four towels per room, especially since hotel towels tend to be small. Staff was happy to give us more upon request, but I don't think that's something that should have to be requested -- especially in a hotel that's not exactly on the low end of cost to stay. Second, there was only one hook to hang towels on in the bathroom. It's set up to accommodate up to four guests in the room, but apparently only one of those four people gets to not throw their towel on the floor after using it? Obviously, the staff has no control over that, but maybe next renovation you all can fix that. Also, while the shower was lovely and clean, I was grateful I didn't have an infant or small child with me because bathing a small child in the sink would have been annoying and a shower-only bathroom isn't particularly convenient.

It was a nice place to stay for work. They were VERY nice and I really enjoyed my stay. Its right down the street from Birkdale Village, which has everything you need.

Bad water pressure in the sink and shower. There was a big bug/roach on wall in the room. Air conditioner was noisy and wasn’t great.

2 star at best, rooms are equivalent to a dorm room…however all front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The property is very clean and cozy . They have a very inviting lobby and the front desk is so nice and friendly . She was so helpful and kind and made suggestions in the area to visit . It’s close to a lot of restaurants and shopping mall a few miles away . The rooms were clean and the bedding was very comfortable . They also have a breakfast in the mornings . It was a very pleasant stay .

We checked in the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. We had an issue with the remote not working they fixed it immediately. We noticed a large group of kids hanging out in the lobby. They were a little noisy but it was the middle of the afternoon not an issue. It became an issue around 10 pm that evening. I called the front desk to complain about the noise. They said they would take care of it. The noise continued to mid night. We were on the first floor in not sure why the group wasn't reprimanded and require to go to their rooms or outside. I've stayed at plenty of nice hotels with large children groups and I've never experienced anything like this

Worst Marriott experience
The hotel was booked in advance and a king room was prepaid for. I checked in online that day but once I arrived they only had a full sized bed available for two people. The women behind the counter didn't seem to care that I had prepaid for a king and told us that the mangers weren't available and it was too late the call them because they might be sleeping. How inconvenient for them.....She blamed the system for not allowing me to get the king bed and stated they were busy that weekend and Marriott doesn't guarantee the room you booked so I pretty much had to deal with it. When she finally realized we weren't going to deal, she reached out to her manager to get the code needed to book the room we paid for. We will not use this hotel in the future.

Worst stay at a hotel in a while!
Did not clean room as requested and left used coffee packages next to machine and did not replenish coffee so I went without morning coffee. Room air-conditioner was extremely noisy, had a high pitch whining sound. The windows are single pane and you can hear massive street (carrs, trucks, motorcycles) thru the night inpeading sleep. If you stay here don't stay to the rear of the hotel. Maybe the front is better as my business partner had no complaint about the noise. Also, the doors are thin and you can hear the hallway noise so stay away from the elevators!

My stay was nice an the staff was very friendly but my only concern was that the shower area wasn’t cleaned very well it was hair left all over the shower floor and walls and the carpet is due for a shampoo cleaning other than that I had a good stay.
