The place is old and in need of updating. The corridor carpet looked dirty. You could smell weed while walking to our room.

This hotel was in the midst of remodeling. Our fridge didn't work, electric outlets didn't work, and light between beds was broken. We did have good water pressure in our shower, but daughter's room was bad. Also pack hair condition, and a hairdryer because ours didn't work. Other than all this, if you just need a place to sleep overnight, it was okay for the price.

Our bathroom had tools and a leaky faucet in it a and then when upgraded to a King BR our vanity light didn't work AND the sink was clogged up. Terrible and this was my 2nd stay when the 1st stay was quite pleasant and this time the exact opposite and won't come back again.

What are you expect for $80. This hotel was recently purchased from Clarion and the sign is still with temporary signage. The sink was stopped up and the light over it did not work. The unit was however, spacious and clean. The breakfast was barely edible.

Lobby was nice but that’s where it ended. Room outdated and not clean at all. I can handle the outdated part but normal cleaning was not done.

The receptionist was very rude and housekeeping was rushing us to check out 2 hours before check-out time so they could prepare the room for the next guests.

My room wasnt clean, the floors did not look like it was vaccumed, bathroom was dirty. I didnt dare to use the shower due to paint pealing off the ceiling. The toilet cover was dirty as well as the bathtub. The towels looked dingy. The head board had hand prints all over it. Stuff stuck on the coffee table by the couch. The milk for tbe breakest tasted sour. I tried to let someone know but no one would cone to the front desk, after i rang the bell.

This was previously a Clarion hotel that was taken over by another interest. At first glance outside and in the lobby area, it looks relatively nice. The rooms not so much. Our 1st room was badly in need of renovating. The baseboards were laying on the floor, the TV was not working and the door did not lock properly. The bathroom was terrible, with a very old toilet and tub, but the floor appeared to be newer. The furnishings were old as well. Our 2nd room as a result or the aforementioned TV and door lock was worse! As soon as we turned on the light switch, the light started blinking, the bathroom just as bad as the first and furnishings were old and outdated. The insides of the lamps had months of built up dust accumulated. There are signs that rooms are being renovated but we will not be back to find out. We stayed here in October and had the same experience but we thought we would get a renovated room. Now, I understand that at $75 for a hotel, that you get what you pay for but it should be clean!

Room was not clean, ice bucket was half full of water and a used cup. Toilet did not flush properly. 90% of the time no one was at front desk, I stood their for 15 minutes waving my arms opening and closing the main door and nothing no one to be found. 8 out of 10 times I entered no one was at front desk. Water temps were reversed on sink, cold on left hot on right..Really? Place had boxes piled in hallway my entire 3+ day stay. Will not stay here again.

Room was too bright with no substantial window coverings. the bathroom was terrible. The beds were terrible. The pillows were terrible. The noise level was unreasonable and I had to go to the desk several times because there is no phone in the room.

My stay was quite all right at Lake Norman Inn and suites. I had no issues with the hotel Directly, whatsoever more so with the service I received from the actual place I booked through which was expedia. I think it's ridiculous that someone has to pay the price of your staff's negligence and greed and In result of that making me to sleep in my car with my husband and teenager in the FREEZING, rainy wet and nasty weather just a day prior to this trip. No natter how hermore because of all of that, paired,with the fact ThatI've been made fun of on countless occasions by more times then not and furthermore discriminated against more time than i care to admit, i would think your agents would understand that the repercussions of their direct actions have serious and profound effects not only on them, but more so with the company as a whole. It would be fair to assume since I'm using said company for the service they provide. Not viceversa. and actually have a little bit of compassion and empathy. Refusing to help someone and find a solution to a problem instead of DOES NOTHING!. But doing nothing to address the problem at hand honestly. Helps no, and how's one supposed to improve if they don't make mistakes along the way? no help from those agents. I don't understand what you're trying to pull. I'm using you for a service, not the other way around. So you would think to stay in business you can make your customers happy, Instead of treating their issues as they were a joke

There was mold and water damage in the shower ceiling. The heater/ac unit was noisy and the filter looked like it hasn't been cleaned in at least a year or more. I was there 3 nights and the maids did not clean my room once.

Have lowered expectations.
Our room was not that clean. There was some food stuck into the carpet. The bathtub was not clean. The paint on the walls in the bathroom looked like it was done by somebody that didn't show back up for work. The blow dryer was laying on the counter. It looked like it was supposed to be attached to the wall and was not the easiest to use. The bed was comfortable and luckily looked clean and the shower head was did have nice pressure.

This place was alright for a night. Definitely met the standard for the price range. I was pretty upset when I get to my room, go to pee, and find that there is dried piss covering the toilet seat. So clearly it wasn’t cleaned properly which obviously made me question everything. The receptionist was very nice and came up and cleaned it for me though. Breakfast was mediocre. Location was great.
