Close enough to venue.

Went to a concert at NC Coliseum. Close enough to get good parking. Parking at hotel was ok. Could have been a bigger lot. There was one dead water bug in room. Beds comfortable, breakfast good. Would stay again. Room needed a hair dryer.

Les - : Get rid of the cockroaches
Situation : Good location for what we were doing. That's why we chose it.
We found two cockroaches in our room and that has coloured our review of the place.

Needs some updating.

Situation : The area was great, Charleston is a beautiful city.
They told us it was under renovation and it does need it. It was adequate but not up to the other Country Inn's and Suites we have stayed in before.

Weekend Getaway

The young man that checked us in was very polite. Arrived in the room, bf jumped in the shower but when he went to get out the tub was clogged. Called the front desk and the young man bought new keys to the room next door up to us. When we got in the new room, the tub worked but the bathroom door didn't close all the way. Good thing it was my boyfriend and I. Also the vending machine on our floor took my dollar so had to get another one from the front desk. Overall we had a very quiet and comfortable stay. It is conveniently located to the mall, movies, and restaurants. Lastly they put a $98 hold on your credit card and it takes 5 days to get it back, they don't prewarn you though. We'd still stay there again.

Roaches and Mildew

Room smelled like mildew and there were roaches in the bathroom. I've never experienced that before in my life! I've never had roaches but seen them on tv...yuck!

Back to Folly Beach

The overall stay was just what I needed, friendly staff all around, shopping, variety of restaurants within walking distance. Alternates oat breakfast for non-pork eaters and only 20 minutes from Folly Beach & downtown. I only had 1 issue and that was cats on the property and the probability of them damaging my up my car's paint.

Mostly average overall. Pleasant front desk staff. It was a small hotel, my room was near the elevator and I could hear it very loudly through the wall every time it was used. This made it hard to get to sleep. The cleaning was rushed, when I checked in there were obvious areas that were missed. I was just passing through so it served its purpose.

Visiting Charleston

Last leg of our trip. Stayed six evenings. Staff were friendly and helpful especially when we asked to have our room changed despite full hotel conditions because of A young child who was constantly crying and banging on the walls. Fairly centrally Located in North Charleston about 22 minutes from historic district of Charleston and about 12 minutes from Charleston airport. Very decent morning breakfast consisting of hot and cold items.
