Close to everything but pretty bad service and maintenance. Tried calling the front desk so many times and no answer. When I turned on the shower, the faucet head shot out at me so dangerous and was not able shower the first night. Also no compensation whatsoever for that experience.

Rooms are like one-bedroom apartments which is great when you have kids. The hotel atmosphere is fun and the staff is friendly. Walking distance to Heavenly and Tahoe snow tubing. Will definitely stay there again.

I did like it was smoke free. But the front desk staff needs more training. I paid for my stay via Expedia and then we decided to stay another night. I didn’t pay via Expedia but through the resort itself and they have doubled charged me and still dispute these charges. But other than that the hotel is clean and comfy.

The only minus during this trip was that the elevator had issues. Otherwise, this hotel is very good. Clean, cozy, great meal options, nice pool, walking distance to all stores, gondola and enertainment. Very close to shuttle that takes you to Heavenly skiing locations. Will be coming back

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. When we stayed in December 2023 for Christmas holiday…the hotel opened two weeks prior to our stay. The ice machines on the floors were not hooked up, and the back shop restaurant made our order incorrect 2x. We assumed the hotel services would be better after the worked out the kinks (We would rate the hotel as a 3 for our December trip) So, our family decided to stay at this hotel again during spring break since it close to the the Gondrla & casino restaurants. The only staff assigned to check-in was rude. There were 3 families in line to check us in. She shouted to all of us “for those in line… listen up. There is no breakfast service Monday thru Thursday”. When we got to the room it had a dirty/sticky/greasy ice bucket, and the fridge did not work. The ice machine did not work on our floor for 2 days. There was only 2 of the 4 elevator working. Ski valet had locked doors because the attendant was also working as a phone receptionist in the back in a back room….you would have to wait for a long time to get skis. We ended up taking ou equipment yo our room since the outdoor ski valet check in was always locked. Garbage was not emptied on the outdoor patio/fire pit lounge from Sunday to Thursday. Rubish was on the ground. The 5 o’clock somewhere restaurant doors we locked at the exterior entrance. People walking down the side walk trying to come in would walk away thinking if was closed.

The whole experience was wonderful. The entire staff works to make the guest happy. The island decor is very upbeat, and the rooms are very comfortable including the bedding. It’s the best sleep I’ve had in a long time .The only concern I have is that the front outdoor area…it is not maintained. It’s nothing like the pictures on Facebook. The fire pits were never operating. There’s some dug up areas with chairs overturned on top of them, and two garbage can stations that do not get emptied and trash was falling out all over the entire week we were there. I let two managers know, but it was never cleaned up.

We weren’t allowed to use the bell hop cart to bring our luggage up they had to bring it up which took a long time. Our heat didn’t work in our room it was freezing. No one answered our calls when we called the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant no one answered calls and no ability to leave a voicemail. I had to go find maintenance and they said the compressor was shot. We finally settled for a space heater. Not exactly what you want after a day of being in the cold Skiing and during a snow blizzard then the fire alarms went off and we were all directed to go outside only to find out that it was an “error” our safe was broken and our food order was wrong items left out and since no one answers the phone we went back and forth from our room to get the forgotten items which the bar tender didn’t really seem to care about at all. think Margaritaville is a great idea in a tropical place but it’s somewhat a disaster here in the mountains of Lake Tahoe. We live in Reno and bring family after to Tahoe but not sure this was a wise place to book…

Very nice hotel however the elevators are limited so coming and going is a bit of a wait especially on the weekends same thing with the valet parking i noticed they broght some people the wrong cars. the worst thing was the ac/heat in the room has a sensor so it was crazy hot at night and we had to get up and trigger the sensor.
