Rien à redire sur l'hôtel. Nourriture au restaurant très mauvaise, c'était clairement réchauffé et nous y étions un samedi soir en plus. Déjeuner hors de prix pour ce qui est proposé.

Agréable ambiance
Le personnel est très prévenant, nous avons bénéficié d'un excellent service. Le buffet du petit-déjeûner est copieux, varié et bien réapprovisionné même proche de l'horaire de fin de service. Nous y avons pris un repas du soir qui était très bon. On y parle français, et même très bien. C'est très came. Et très propre

Overall the stay was OK, value for money based on a one night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building itself is tired and in need of updating but based on our experience we would return.

property exterior shabby, very tired looking, could do with a good lick of paint and repairs to woodwork handrails and fencing. Water pressure in shower was pathetic. Paintwork around doors and frames needed cleaning.

there was no light bulbs, no kettles provided and rooms dirty... made a complaint for a refund however the hotel have denied any of this so no refund is provided

You get what you pay for - the room was basic which was expected given the price we paid. Bathroom was unclean with cobwebs in the ceiling corners. Car parking outside the room door was very convienient. However location of hotel to Cardiff City Centre is approx. 20mins. Room had one heater (no central heating) which was basic, considering we went during a storm! Overall, within expectations.

It was very convenient on the edge of the city it had a cafe was close M4 junction. Not far to walk from carpark to room Wifi excellent. Comfortable relaxed stay. First choice if working in Cardiff again.

Loved it here
The bed was so comfy, very clean in all areas, the bathrooms was spotless and the bath and shower was amazing, looks all new and works perfectly well. There is an electric heater on the wall but extra blankets and pillows are in the wardrobe next to a decent hair dryer.. the breakfast was very very good, plenty on offer, well worth the price. Loved it here and will return again xx

Only stay the one night the staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early as we were attending a rugby match. The room was clean but it was tired and could do with refurbishment shower was weak.

Worst hotel..they will switchoff the heaters after you check in ..if yu ask them they will simply say technical problem we cont do anything now..all you eed to do is suffer whole night in the cold. Waste of money.. no service nothing..they are liers too

Dear Guest, We are sorry to read you have a problem with your bedroom heater. All our electric heaters are individually controlled by thermostat, unfortunately people thinking by putting to the heater to the full blast will made the room hotter but all heaters has a safety measure control and will be switch off automatically to cool down on some occasion. On request we have some spare heaters available at the reception but also at your disposition in your room a blanket.

Where do start !!!!!!This hotel is VERY tired and can do with some serious TLC . Had The look and feel of a youth hostel .The member of staff that greeted us was very pleasant . The staff member asked us if we would like breakfast we declined.The car park was challenging and it kept you on your toes with your hill starts ..... The outside of the hotel didn't give us a fluffy feeling . It was at the end off industrial small industrial estate . Our room was very basic . We had an accessible room ,the bed the shower didn't look inviting so we decided to wait until we arrived at our destination. We didn't expect much as we only paid £37 for our 1 night stay . It was somewhere to rest our head while we broke our journey to our holiday and see in a convenient place to see our son and his family. Our son and daughter in law said"we wondered who would stay at a place like that ....

ARROGRANT FRENCH OWNER . I ARRIVED AT 13,50 AND ASKED IF MY ROOM WAS READY ,HE REPLIED 'CHECK IN IS FROM 14.00.' I ASKED HIM AGAIN ABOUT MY ROOM AND ALL HE KEPT SAYING WAS CHECK IN FROM 2PM.THE NOISE FROM THE OTHER ROOMS WAS INTOLRABLE. SMOKING WAS ALOUD OUTSIDE THE ROOMS BUT ALL THE STALE SMOKE CAME IN BECAUSE ASHTRAY JUST OUTSIDE DOOR. WASTE BINS WERE CONTINUALY OVERFLOWING. THERE WAS NO SAFTEY HAND RAIL TO HELP GETTING OUT THE SHOWER WHICH WAS OVER THE TINY BATH.AN ACCIDENT JUST WAITING TO HAPPEN.!!NO ROOM CENTRE LIGHT.JUST 2 SMALL LIGHTS NEAR BED. THE MATTERESS WAS WORN OUT.SPRINGS PROTRUDING , IN FACT HAD CAME AWAY WITH BRUISES BOTH ON MY LEGS AND BODY .IT WAS ADVERTISED WITH A RESTUARANT BUT NO MEALS AVAILABLE. WAS TOLD THERE IS A PUB JUST UP THE HILL.

This hotel is not up to the French standard of Campaniles! The blocks were rundown, rust showing,needs a serious overhaul. The window handle came off in my hand, the room smelled, the toilet cistern had a problem filling up. In fact the hotel should have paid us to stay there. Unfortunately we had already paid up front something we’ll have to think about it the future ! Plus they still advertise evening meals which isn’t true

Good value hotel.
This hotel is very good value for money. We were made welcome at the reception and there were plenty of spaces for parking. As the hotel is away from the road, it was very quiet at night. It is also not too far from the Brecon Beacons.

Tucked away behind Lidl and an small industrial estate on a steep slope. Clearly a very old building and in need of an update but effort to ensure it was clean was clear. For the price, it had all the essentials -but you wouldn't want to have to spend time in the room - ideal as a place to crash overnight. Clean comfy bed, clean towels and adequate shower and bathroom. Negative was that the TV didn't work - signal from satellite was mostly scrambled) Positives were excellent free wifi, very quiet (in the pandemic), friendly helpful staff and terrific freshly cooked English breakfast.

would not recommend this hotel to anyone.The rooms were disgusting states tea/coffee facilities but were none. paid for breakfast(full £12) to be told they were not doing food and was offered a box of cereal.If anyone has watched Heidi Hi with the little chalets these were 10 times worse would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

We invite all guests to informed us during their stay of any issues with their room cleaning, our team work under an extrem pressure but we are more than happy to correct the issues during your stay and not after. Due to the Covid situation we have to alter some of our services but a sign is display to inform you some are available at the reception like our courtesy tray. You booked a continental buffet only which offer you not only a cereals but yoghurt, pastry, bread, fruit salad and unlimited selection of hot drinks and juices, you could update for an English breakfast in extra.

Lovely Breakfast, hotel needs an upgarade.
I can see it was once a lovely hotel but it is a little dated now in my view and needs an upgrade. It was in an ideal location for me, the staff were polite and the breakfast was lovely. The shower in the morning was a bit of a trickle not so much a power shower more like a light sprinkle. There are balconies and people were smoking and I had my window open due to it being hot so cigarette smoke in my room and plus when you leave your room you are walking past smokers anyway it was fine.

Just made it on time!
I booked through trivago on the day as my delivery pattern had changed. Was unaware of the 11 pm cut off for check in so had to reroute to check in on time. Maybe this should be more prominent in the booking process and not hidden in the t&c.

DSS Guests staying here
The hotel is being used to house either DSS people and/or refugees. That’s fine, but the management shouldn’t let rooms to hotel guests as well. The atmosphere was intimidating with large numbers of people crowding the reception/bar area. Many were on the balcony’s outside the room talking loudly and smoking late in to the night. Poor visit. I won’t be returning.
