Hôtel très agréable, emplacement idéal.
Hôtel très bien placé, proche en autre de Park Street, quartier agréable. Services efficaces,chambre confortable et parfaitement entretenue.WiFi gratuite et rapide. Nous y sommes restés 6 nuits et y revenions chaque fin d'après midi avec plaisir . Beau jardin en plein centre de Kolkata ou dîner le soir sur la pelouse est un enchantement. De plus la cuisine est excellente et les vins sont parfaits. Seul point négatif, le ronronnement de la climatisation.

Un hôtel moderne avec un pub à la mode anglaise
Aprés y avoir passé 5 nuits, je trouve le personnel accueillant et prévenant. L'accés y est facile. Les divers restaurants et pub permettent de choisir une nourriture locale ou internationale. La propreté des chambres est impeccable et les services exceptionnels. Si je retourne à KolKatta, je retournerai dans cet hôtel calme et central au niveau de cette ville par ailleurs très bruyante.

Excellent, beautiful hotel in the center of the city within walking distance from attractions, Bars, restaurants and street food. The staff were amazing from check-in thru check-out, kind, courteous and very helpful. There is a metro station within a 5 min walk as well. Would totally recommend this place!

Great Stay in central Kolkata
Great unassuming hotel in Kolkata center. Perhaps some of the best staff I have encountered in India. Top notch hotels in India often fall short on some measure (usually maintenance), but my room was perfectly maintained and everything actually worked! Loved the Christmas decorations and restaurant was great.

The service levels were extra ordinary. Each person from the security at the gate to reception to housekeeping and restaurant were very helpful. The food quality was as one would expect in Kolkata. Possibly one of the best. We ordered quite a lot of in-dining and were very satisfied. Central location makes it very convenient for tourists to walk over to some famous restaurants as well iconic building in kolkata

Priyashree and her friend at the reception desk was very helpful and made our stay at the hotel a joyous experience. Kudos to both of them. Wish breakfast was included in the price, getting rides (taxi) was a bit difficult or the person who was helping us while we were checking out was not very helpful..... over all we are happy with our stay there. Stay at the hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Good food options but a little too pricey. The only issue I encountered was on the last night when I asked for an airport drop. I paid for a third party car rental through the hotel (ORYX) for hotel pick up at 1.00 AM on July2 ( had extended my stay) and then to be dropped off at the airport.. The driver was either drunk or under the influence of some substance abuse. He was driving very slow on the road and even dozed off at one of the red lights. Was continuously feeding himself on some candy . Then he took the wrong exit and took the car to arrivals instead of departure area. Got lost in the arrivals and this whole drama lasted 15-20 minutes. I didn't make a fuss with him as I had an international flight to catch. Requesting the hotel management to thoroughly vet the drivers before letting them handle hotel guests - this is a safety issue. I have pictures of that rodeo if needed, The car tag # of the Suzuki model was WB11F 1703.

Overall I was disappointed with Kenilworth. They charged 5 star prices for a budget hotel service. It seems all work is done by the front office and reception. The two ladies (Alisha and Priyasha) were problem solvers. They were helpful and helped with everything down to printing the boarding pass. The business office was not functional. Housekeeping was at its worst. I had to ask Housekeeping for the amenities. Either they did not know how to read or did not care. The toilet and tissue paper supplied was the cheapest. Even the tea/coffee in the room was not properly filled and had to be requested. The houseboys were very obliging and helped but that should have been supervised. The best was the so advertised Spa. They had only 4 nail polish colors, and could not do threading, the most common of the services since they did not have supplies. The girls were sweet, but they did not have the supplies to work with. The restaurant was another matter. Too many servers and you had to wait to get service. Further, no one was monitoring the servers with the mask mandate. Like most Indians the mask was worn below the nose and the server had a cold and was sniffing. It was so unhygenic, especially in the pandemic times and I had to tell him. Next moment he was wearing the mask below his nose again. The only redeeming factor was the room, which was at least comfortable to a certain extent, and the location of the hotel. The management needs to restore it to its former standards.

Location and food surrounding are good. But the communication in between reception and house keepings need to improve. Once the guest is out and requested for cleaning of room is failed to communicate

Great stay in prime location
I had to stay for several weeks in Kolkata, and Kenilworth was a great option for this. Hotel was clean, staff was professional and well organized. Due to remote work and meetings, i required constant good quality wifi, which was available without any hassle.
