When I walked into the room, there was a used shaver on the carpet, so I knew right away they had not vacuumed the place. I complained, and they vacuumed I think, and at the same time stole my brush for some reason. My room was very cold apparently because it was an old building, and it faced the wind side of the building. I requested an extra blanket but that never happened. I couldn’t change rooms because I need an accessible bathroom and that was the only room available. I went there because the building is attached to the convention centre where I was attending a recruitment fair. I have limited mobility , and there was nothing that could help me get from the hotel down long corridor and down along hallway to the exhibit hall The door between the two buildings was not wheelchair accessible so even with all of the stuff I was lugging, and my disability, there was no automatic door so either I had to ask for help or struggle to open the door myself. I mentioned this to the staff at the hotel, and they were very dismissive. If you are scent sensitive, you’re going to have a very tough time in the lobby. There is an overwhelming smell of deodorizer/perfume. The fair I was working at ended at 8 PM and the restaurant in the hotel closed soon after that so I had to order delivery. No option for room service. They have a small store where you can buy snacks if you’re willing to pay four dollars for a small bag of chips.

There are NO OUTLETS in the room. None next to the bed, walked around the room and only found one very inconvenient location. In this age, every hotel room I have ever stayed in for the last 10 years, always has outlets readily available next to the beds.

The room obviously wasn’t prepared. When I walked in the room, it wasn’t smelling clean and fresh, then there was a sock on the floor and food crumbs. The room was so cold, I had to sleep in my winter coat which didn’t help. It was a miserable night, I got up with a headache and congestion from the frigid night in the room. I called front desk and was eventually moved to another room, it felt warmer but there was Doritos on the floor😳. The elevators stopped working, so we had to take the stairs from the 6th floor. My worst hotel experience!!!

We arrived at check-in time and was told our room wasn't ready. They said around 20 minutes. I kept having to check with the front desk staff. We were in town to see a show. Our room wasn't ready for an hour and 40 minutes past check-in time and 10 minutes before we had to leave for our show. One of the front desk staff was very friendly about it and upgraded our room, but the upgrade still wasn't ready. It made for a very stressful start to our evening.

Over all the staff wad very friendly and courteous from the moment we got there a valet was very helpful in pointing out the parking area, check in was very smooth and the staff was very polite and helpful. Also would like to acknowledge the starbucks staff for the same. The room was well stocked and clean. My stay was brief but the staff made it a very enjoyable one.
