Superbe localisation. Hôtel très chic. Alvear grill excellent. Chambre sans vue. Nous avons gelé tout les matins au restaurant. Bar au toit toujours plein le soir occupé par la population locale. Impossible d’avoir une table à l’extérieur trois soirs sur nos quatre nuits à l’hôtel. Piscine décevante et terrasse au toit sans intérêt, aucune ambiance.

L'Alvéar est un vrai palace associant, luxe raffinement et discrétion, le tout dans un décor de toute beauté et pour finir un emplacement parfait.Le petit déjeuner servi dans un cadre magnifique est fait de produits de grande qualité.les chambres sont rénovées mais gardent tout leur charme.

I loved the hotel, staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Our flight arrived at 8:30 am and we received an early check in without even asking. And again allowed a late checkout. While BA can be unsafe I never felt that in the Recoleta neighborhood. I highly recommend this hotel.

Best in Buenos Aires!!
I stayed at the Alvear twice on my recent trip, the first time for 3 nights and then for 1 night. I stayed in a suite and a junior suite and everything about my stay was fabulous. The service is wonderful, the concierge gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The breakfast area is absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest I have had at a hotel. The rooms have the charm of an old grand hotel whilst being in excellent condition, clean, spacious and well appointed tech-wise. The rooftop bar is a must for a pre dinner cocktail. The location of the hotel is within easy reach of Palermo by car, Teatro Colon, san telmo etc etc I cannot wait to go back!!
