Bon hôtel
Hotel très correct, bien situé à proximité des transports en commun. Propre, silencieux, dans une petite rue calme. Peut-être un défaut dans les deux chambres occupées en l'espace de 5 jours : l'absence de rideaux occultants. Accueil simple et sympa, très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Chambre très propre, mais les installations de douches n'étaient pas très solides. "Jardin" appréciable, mais qui ne protégeait pas de la canicule. Pas trop isolé de la lumière (le matin) et des bruits (surtout le plancher qui grince dans le couloir). Mais globalement rapport qualité prix très intéressant.

Amazing little hotel in a quiet, safe area close to transport but also walkable to main tourist areas. 'Mr' David ( as we called him) and his team, including several cats, run a friendly and nicely decorated hotel. The rooms were large and spotless, the patio was lovely to sit out on and the breakfast was selected from a menu. There was always food available to order, a bar open and syaff were always ready to help with any questiond or just to have a chat. Went with my 9 yr old and she loved the place especially the cats!

Mit dem Exptess-X-Bus 100 (4 Stationen) und 10 Minuten Fußweg sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig in einer Nebenstraße und ist sehr sauber. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants / Bars sind auch zu Fuß erreichbar.

Spent a week here, great location, very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were clean. Cute outdoor sitting area as you walk to reception. Very close to bus and train lines. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes within a 15 min walk. I was able to walk to the National Art museum in about 20 min. Would definitely stay here again

Needs cleanliness policy improvement
Hotel Michelangelo is also referred to as Balineze Spa & Detox. Location is great, in a charming, quiet and safe neighborhood, within walking distance to Calea Victoriei, Cismigiu Park and downtown. There is no coffee machine in the room - you have to walk up to the front desk and ask the person on duty to make you coffee (expresso is the standard - no drip coffee). The coffee is quite good. Room pictures on Hotels.com show that bedrooms havev a night stand on each side of the bed. Ours didn't- the bed was pushed against the wall, which made it incovenient for one person to get out of the bed. Room is more like an apartment with a livingroom area, bedroom and bath. Lots of space. Cleanliness was an issue-the 3rd night the used towels we left on the floor in the morning ended up back on the towel rack - they weren't changed and neither the towel in front of the shower. We brought up the issue to the front desk and the person on duty told us the hotel policy is to change towels every 3 days and that cleaning staff made a mistake changing them daily up to then. After giving us a homily about it and strenching out he will be in trouble for it, he gave us a pair of fresh towels but warned us they will not be changed for the next 2 days. Same for the towel in front of the shower which was layed out wet in front of the shower. This "policy" is unheard of and unhealthy. Except for the towel incident, staff was generally nice and courteous.

Fantastic rustic hotel set in a quiet area. Very welcoming and professional staff. The room was decent size and fabulous shower. Breakfast is simple but enough to set you up for the day. Airport bus stops very close by. And metro is 10 min walk. If you walk into old town you will pass many historical buildings and take around 30 minutes. I would recommend this hotel for anyone

Ett trevligt trestjärnigt boende med ett personligt fint bemötande från anställda på hotellet. Rent och mysigt rum utan störande ljud. Ligger i ett lugnt ambassad-område och gillar man gå, tar man sig runt stadens sevärdheter till fots. Praktiskt och nära från/till flygplatsen till/från hotellet med buss 783 (hållplats Piața Victoriei), cirka 7-8 minuters promenad. Bra säng och en välfungerande A/C En fin gest från hotellet då jag en dag skulle iväg tidigt en morgon för bussresa till Transsylvanien att dem ordnade med smörgåsar att ta med, då jag behövde lämna hotellet innan serveringen öppnade. Enklare frukost men god samt bra kaffe. Området kändes säkert och bekvämt att röra sig i även sena kvällar. Bor gärna på samma hotell vid nästa Bukarest-besök.

The staff is the best asset of this property. They would go above and beyond to help you and make sure you enjoy your stay, from ordering food for you using the their phones because you don’t have the local app to order food, to allowing late check out after I got my metro lines confused and didn’t make it back to the hotel on time. The facilities are modest, no frills but you’ll have a clean room, with a working A/C and a comfy bed. If anything, I’d only say I’d like thinner pillow’s but that’s just my preference and in Romania in general, they seem to go for thick pillows. Thanks to all the staff members that helped me during my stay!

A nice, quirky hotel. It's got an unusual layout, an old building converted to a hotel, and I found out when I got there that there's on site massage therapy available in the lower floor! The staff were very nice. It's easy to walk down to the main centre and old town areas, or the metro and bus are easily accessible from this location. It's located on a quiet side street which doesn't look spectacular but is quiet and no problems were encountered at all
