Hôtel propre et confortable. Personnel très gentil. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de goûter au breakfast qui avait l'air copieux car un peu cher, mais un sans faute pour le reste

Une note réaliste.
Le service en français est pauvre. Les seuls langues dans lesquelles le personnel soit compétent sont l'anglais et l'arabe. Mais c'est une tendance générale à Beyrouth malgré les efforts de l'Ambassade et d'autres agences de la francophonie. France 24 était en anglais ! L'hôtel est en général assez bon, mais 5 étoiles ... C'est une exagération. 4 ou 3,5 à la rigueur. Pas de mobilier sur le balcon.

The hotel is situated in the Hamra area
The hotel is located in the Hamra area which has seen better times in the past albeit is central to Beirut city centre. The staff at the desk seemed unfriendly and the the telephone charges at 3 USD per minute for a local call is very excessive and overdone. We spoke for 14 minutes and the bill came to 39000 liras the equivelant of a dinner for two in a good restaurant !! The rooms were correctly cleaned but the water was luke warm; the swimming pool was nice and the life saver friendly and attentive. The food that we had was tasty and clean; the installation of the security system at the entrance assured us of our well being. In conclusion a nice Hotel kept well despite it's age. Will recommend it if the receptionist can manage a smile and be less regimental.

points négatifs : - l'offre n'inclue pas de petit déjeuner... ce qui est à mon avis un point négatif par rapport à d'autres offres (services et hôtels à peu près équivalents) - pas de wifi gratuit!!! et le wifi de l'hôtel une vraie arnaque : on doit payer 30 dollars pour 2 jours pour un réseau qui marche 1/4 d'heure par jour et encore.... - présence d'un coq appartenant à une personne du voisinage de l'hôtel qui chante tous les matins à partir de 3h!!!! insomnie garantie franchement on était crevés. Qd on s'est plaint, apparemment ils sont en conflit avec la personne en question, pour l'instant pas de solution... sinon dans l'ensemble, chambre correcte, propre. Mais présence d'une seule chaise : pas pratique pour une chambre pour deux ou quand il y a un ami qui vient dans la chambre.. équipement correct. Bien localisé (quartier Hamra, animé resto à proximité etc) la porte des wc ne se fermait pas ... il nya pas eu de reaction malgré le fait qu'on l'a signalé plusieurs fois..

J'attriburais certainement pas cinq etoiles a cet hotel, avec des coupures d'electricites, d'eau ou frais assez chere pour internet. Mais les personnelles forts competents et tres polis, vaut des etoiles.

le commodore de beyrouth, un confort maximal en plein coeur de la ville
service impeccable, personnel chaleureux et compétent, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées (climatisation, coffre, mini bar, théiere, set de douche,.... Le batiment est très bien isolé y compris les chambres donnant sur la rue ce qui est bien agréable étant donné que l'hôtel se situe dans le quartier relativement bruyant d'Hamra. Le buffet petit déjeuner est copieux et variant spécialités libaaises et occidentales. Mention spécial au restaurant japonais absolument divin. Le restaurant libanais est quant à lui plutôt décevant.

It needs renovation. The view is horrendous, the should just cover it with dark tint. Staff was so gracious and friendly. This hotel just needs a little renovation.

vasat üstü bir otel
check ınn erken yapıldı memnun kaldık ,fakat check out bos oda yok diye 12de boşalttılar vede 12 den öncede internetimizi kestiler otele bu yakışmadı .otelin en çok memnun kaldığımız yeri misafir ilişkilerinden mesul bayan crystel di bize her konuda yardımcı oldu . ayrıca otelin interneti yok gibiydi kahvaltısı fena değildi.

The property is good and the staff are friendly, maybe the rooms and building have old style but I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel. Overall the stay was fantastic and I would definitely come back again

Not a 5 star hotel. But ok, and excellent service. Nice pool, but loose sun by 3.30pm
