We arrived around midnight and did not reserve a room online and asked for a room for the same price as seen online, the receptionist said the can’t do it for us, we’d have to book it online. Not to mention the attitude he had, no smile and looked annoyed. The lodge is in a rough neighbourhood of Winnipeg, however, 10 mins to the downtown core. The lodge also looks like an old factory or school. Still getting renovated. Room was not the cleanest, however, spacious and bed was surprisingly comfortable. (Checked for bedbugs first thing and didn’t see anything). Good if youre passing through Winnipeg, however, would not recommend to someone staying a couple days.

Hotel was terrible dirty and the staff was terrible. We got stolen 2 lagagges from my car just in front of the reception desk. The hotel mentioned breakfast included which was not. Just terrible experience I won’t book again in the entire hotel chain never

Check in was quick. Rooms were good enough to sleep in. The ice machine by room is super loud. The pool was amazing lots of fun. The food at the grill area was decent, service wasnt great. The young boy at the grill was very good and polite but things take a while

the property & room were awesome for younger kids! Loved the pool & was very dead & only us in there on Thursday and friday during the day! The room was clean and pool view was great, we had great conversations with staff & the guest were also pleasant Only thing that sucked was the area on the outside but honestly we just stayed inside and enjoyed everything!!!!! Definitely going to go back again with the family!!!!!

Microwave and fridge didn't work. Front desk staff need to unlock pool door manually to let you in. Signs say to return wet pool towels to the front desk(awkward) or there will be a $10/towel fine. However, staff instruct you to leave the towels in a bucket by the door.... Arcade game doesn't work properly... You can play, but the prize doesn't advance when you win. Ice machine out of order. Very few TV channels work. The pool is amazing! 2 awkwardly small hot tubs(only one working), but the pool and slides are awesome for kids. Poolview rooms do not have a door to the pool, just a window. The beds were comfortable. One vending machine, reasonable prices. Washing machine/dryer available with Soap in the vending machine. Overall, it was exactly what I expected from a 2 star hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The checkin clerk was helpful, our room you could see the light from the hall and bathroom from the top of the walls at the ceiling. The bathroom was dated but clean other than previously spilled nail polish on the counter. Served its purpose for the night.

We booked pool view 2 queen bedroom but we got non pool view one and that room was so much stinky smells so terrible and they didn’t even change that room after request even didn’t spray room freshener we bring own room freshener first to spray it on and the old lady on reception was so much rude all the time with everyone overall it was too much bad experience

I am so disaapointed from my last stay booked through expedia at travelodge. I cannot belive like it was that worse. People spend their money to book a hotel to get relax, what if it would not go as you planned. I have no words to explain about my stay. First I did not get the room i booked, they gave me according to their choice. In the room there was no spot for charger not at all. I was facing issues and the front desk boy was so rude and answering NO for everything I ask. When I talk to Manager, she was making excuses even she does not had any answer for my questions. After hard push, she said i can take a look for rooms even before she was saying they do not have any rooms available. so so disappointed, they made mine and my friends stay worse. I am not gonna book this hotel ever again. 🔴🔴🔴🔴

The staff was friendly. The pictures on Expedia don't reflect what you receive when you arrive. The room had a bad odour of cigarette smoke and feet. Drunk people were wandering halls all the night .

I was quite disappointed with this hotel. The staff were nice enough but the condition of the hotel was terrible. There are cockroaches. I will not be back.

The entry way and reception area was quite grubby and the hallways were a little rough-looking but it is an old building so I wasn’t too bothered by this. The room has new flooring and fresh paint. I will say that the best part was the staff. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and professional. The room is spotless, very impressed. Thank you for a great stay.

The hotel has a very dirty smell, when you are in the lobby you can see multiple air fresheners to try and help, which fails miserably. The rooms although they appeared to be cleani’ish, my socks were dirty walking around, and it is extremely dated. The area is very sketchy, people arguing and lurking outside. I have stayed in less expensive hotels with much much higher standards. For what you’re paying, seek shelter elsewhere.
