Quand je suis arrivé au comptoir de l'hôtel pour valider ma réservation il m'ont répondu s qu'il ne trouvait pas ma reservation et je devais appeler hotel.com par mes propres moyens pour régler le tout. J'ai fait sentir au commis que c'est lui - même qui avait à regler la situation. Il m'a envoyé m'a envoyé m'assoir poliment. Finalement ils ont découvert que quelqu'un d'autre avait pris la chambre à une autre personne. Il se sont excusés et m'on données deux déjeuners gratuits et ont payés mon stationnement.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is not maintained very well. Maybe it’s because of the area. The walls are very thin and I was kept up all night listening to the guest next to me watch tv ALL NIGHT LONG and the volume was loud. Do not pay for the breakfast! I was given a free breakfast voucher (probably because my room was right next to the lobby, very loud at 12:45am when guests were socializing there). There wasn’t enough wait staff and all beverages were brought to you, so I only had one cup of coffee, no water or OJ. Food was average. It’s just a below average hotel, I expected more from a Doubletree. And there were no hot cookies available which is what the hotel is known for. Saying all that, my experience would have been worse if the staff wasn’t so nice and friendly.

Property overall is outdated and air inside as soon you walk-in smell and feels damp and moist. Pool was permanently closed, we choose this hotel for the kids to spend some time in the pool but unfortunately didn’t happen. On a good side personnel is nice and trying be very helpful, room seems clean. Definitely this place needs update, wouldn’t stay here next visit.

The hotel pool was closed but that was not mentioned when booking the hotel. Room service was also not available. Hotel was one street over from Market street with great restaurants but had to walk down unsavory-smelling side streets to get there. Room, carpet and linens felt a little musty. There were no cookies! Place is beautiful and clean. EXCEPT they clean with fabuloso and it was SO STRONG I had an asthma attack in the middle of the night. Couldn’t sleep for hours. Coughed for days. That stuff burns your lungs. Gotta stop using that.

Nice staff
This place is pretty good. I cannot remember the name of the lady working the front desk, but she is Mexican and was very nice and friendly and helpful. She suggested a few places to visit while I was in town. It is about a 10 minute walk up a hill from the train station. Its not a steep hill, but it is a steady uphill walk so keep that in mind. Am Uber or Lyft is about $10. A few bars and restaurants can be found around the corer.
