Dear Brendan, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I apologize on behalf of the team for the inconvenience of having to walk to the Steam Plant Hotel. I walk that area myself, yet with all due respect, I don't see that area as a threat as the City has patrols and the area is well lit. I am sorry we made you walk though. Regarding the Sapphire Lounge, yes, mid-week we don't stay open if there is no activity. Weekends are different because there is always something happening downtown. I absolutely understand the disappointment when you just want a night cap and there is nowhere to go. I get it and for that I am sorry. Should you decide to return, please ask the front desk at Hotel Ruby to check with the Sapphire on their intentions.
