“Hôtel El Rey Moro: en plein centre et tellement agréable”
Hôtel très agréable en plein centre historique, avec patio pittoresque. Le personnel est vraiment attentif. La chambre que nous avons occupée était spacieuse et très bien décorée; la salle par contre n'avait pas de fenêtre et était de standing inférieur à un 3 étoiles. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous recommandons cet hôtel très vivement!
“Great location but don't get a ground floor room”
Service was great along with location. Quaint hotel with reasonable breakfast and free bottled water. We had a ground floor room. Ridiculously noisey. TV didn't work initially and wifi initially worked and then never again. They couldn't change our room as they were full on one of the nights and on the other wanted an additional fee. We booked via expedia and there was no mention of ground floor room only on booking. Just to reiterate the staff were wonderful. We just didn't sleep for two days.
“Impressed”
A delighful hotel with charming staff, very comfortable and relaxing. Close to the airport bus stop and in the heart of the old quarter of Seville
“Great place to stay in Sevilla”
This was the perfect hotel for Sevilla. Right in the heart of the old town. A beautiful location, very friendly staff. We had an amazing time there. Absolutely recommend both this hotel and the City.
“Too Noisy”
Because it's an old facility with modernized features, the walls are thin and the noise carries. If you're a heavy sleeper, probably no problem. It has an exquisite, picutresque patio inside the lobby and extremely gracious staff. It's well-located in the Jewish Quarter where a lot of the interesting tourist attractions are nearby. To speak nothing of the outdoor eating establishments within a few steps. Besides the noise problem there was a service problem. We asked for additional shampoo and the desk couldn't provide it. Apparently only the room maid had the product and she was gone for the day. We eventually got some by personally approaching a maid the next morning. We also had a problem with having sufficient towels and wash clothes. They do have an English-speaking staff. They were reliable for wake-up calls and had taxis there at the hour requested.
“Absolutely perfect accommodation”
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the "happy hour" in the late afternoon and the free water bottles. Pleasant area in courtyard to socialize with other guests if you felt inclined, also enjoyed the new rooftop jacuzzi and outdoor deck area on the roof. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect accommodation you won't be disappointed.
“Comfortable, Cozy, Beautiful and Great Location”
Less than a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and Real Alcazar. Located in pedestrian area of Santa Cruz area. Comfortable bed, clean and nicely appointed room, friendly and warm staff. beautiful setting with rooms around a courtyard with flowers and a soothing fountain. did not try the restaurant. would definitely stay there again.
“Great Small Hotel”
This small hotel located in an alley was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had character and the pictures of the hotel on the web represents what you will get. I slept with Marilyn Monroe for two nights or at least with art-work of her. The room was clean. My room didn't have much of a view and considering the location of the hotel, I don't think any of the rooms did. However, I was there to enjoy Seville so it didn't bother me. I can recommend this hotel.
“Great location and service in the heart of old Seville”
El Rey Moro is ideally located if you want to explore old Seville on foot. The two most popular attractions, the cathedral and the Alcazar, are less than ten minutes walk from the hotel. There are also many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. One disadvantage of the location: the streets surrounding the hotel are so narrow that vehicles cannot come to the front door. Our taxi let us off at the closest possible spot, after which we had to walk for a couple of minutes. This was not a problem for us, since we were travelling light, but can be if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel is quite charming, though not luxurious. It is built around a Moorish style courtyard, and has its own restaurant (in an enclosed courtyard) which was very convenient since we arrived, quite tired after an 8-hour train ride from Valencia, at 9 p.m. on a cold and wet evening. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Unlike many hotels in Spain, this one had free safe boxes in rooms and internet service. Another service--free water bottles--was a nice touch.
