“Hotel Crescent San Francisco”

un hotel impeccable et parfaitement situé ... à condition , si on est 4, de réserver 2 chambres, et surtout pas une suite, annoncée abusivement pour 4 ... ne pas trop compter non plus sur le personnel, pas vraiment capable de donner des renseignements pratiques sur la ville...

“sf view”

hotel was clean and well maintained. location was safe and convenient. though, late night noise can be bothersome. elevator broke down, but was attended to, immediately, with very little down time. hotel staff is always ready to greet you. convenient location to transportation. centrally located. nice size rooms and bed and bath.

“Won't Be Back”

Front desk reception was bland, communication was lacking as to the exact location of our room, and it felt a bit like a scavenger hunt. After three miscommunications with the receptionist, we finally found our assigned destination and stepped into a tiny but clean minimalist room with no reading lights beside the bed and a cutting-edge designed lucite chair that was dreadfully uncomfortable. Water pressure in the sink was almost non-existent, and so was the hot water, so we decided not to take a chance with the shower. Beside the bed were two large bottles of designer water but no information was present regarding their cost, so we didn't open them. We were awakened very early in the morning by street noise, but I suppose due to the hotel's location that the clanging from the garbage trucks dumping load after load of recyclable bottles was unavoidable. Breakfast was nice, but would have been much more enjoyable without the talking heads yammering away at top volume on the huge TV in the breakfast room. All in all, it was a very impersonal atmosphere here at the Crescent, and I would not recommend this hotel. There are much better places available in the city at comparable rates.

“Pick another hotel”

Very unprofessional staff. They don't greet you when you come in and they don't say bye when you leave. The linens weren't soft and they had incredibly small cheap pillows on the bed. And don't even get me started on the only ancient and slooow elevator.

“price was right”

Price was right. Walls a bit on the thin side. Overall my wife and I had a positive experience.

“Frisco downtown”

Nice hotel, good location. Easy access to various locations and pretty close to union square. Hotel is old, but well maintained. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Well designed. One bad thing, was that we could not connect to their wifi, since we did not needed that bad it wasn't a big deal. The elevator is slow. Their is a nice bar on the second flor, seams to be pretty cool (we didn't visited it). We would stay here again, like the over all experience.

“Excellent service, great location...will definitely be back again!”

We are a group of 4 from New Zealand and after a long 12 hour flight it was so nice to arrive in San Francisco to excellent service and a great hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location was also very good - close to Union Square and Chinatown so we pretty much walked everywhere. We caught a tram to the piers which was very easy from that location. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco and should we come back to San Francisco again we will stay here!!

“Very Modern Botique Hotel”

Stayed one night here. Loved the design and feel of the hotel. Great location. The facilities in the room were in good condition and clean. Only downside was no A/C since it happened to be 86 degrees that day (rare for the city.) Would return again for another stay!

“Not extremely impressed, but okay”

The hotel was just okay. It is a decent stay if you plan to spend limited time there. Its a good price and the rooms are decent size. The bed is comfortable. The cons - room was extremely hot and could have been cleaned better. There were some stains on the floor and the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Breakfast was minimal just a bagel, egg, yogurt, and orange juice. However, its a decent stay for the money. It is an older hotel but has some modern fixtures. It for sure has character. I would give this a 2.5-3 rating.
