Une situation idéale à deux pas de Union Square. L'environnement du quartier n'est pas Top beaucoup de sans abris au niveau du carrefour maintenant c'est plus impressionnant a voir que réellement dangereux car il y a beaucoup de touristes. L' hotel est quelconque rien a retenir mais pour le prix c'est bien. Chambre la 505 un peu bruyant mais pour le séjour en novembre pas de fenêtre ouverte alors ça va. La chambre propre bon je ne regarde pas dans le détail je ne suis pas du style a regarder dans les coins et sous le lit !!! Cette chambre equipée d'une kitchenette trés pratique et cofee maker parfait pour le matin et garder au frais des trucs!!! San Francisco est tellement magique que l'hôtel n'est que pour dormir alors pour le prix c'est correct sinon un peu plus bas il y a le Hilton ....... Ps : Un plus une laverie juste à côté.

dans l ensemble l'hotel est correcte... seule bémol c'est le quartier,on se sent pas rassurer la nuit...

On revient d'une semaine au Américas Union square. On a jamais eu un hôtel aussi crade. C'est vrai que l'hôtel est situé près de la station de Bart mais elle est aussi à côté de la soupe populaire des clochars. Ce n' est vraiment pas rassurant car ils sont très nombreux. Le personnel n' est pas courtois. De plus, l'hôtel est très mal entretenu. Ça pue, les tapis et les murs sont tâchés. Les rideaux sont couverts de poussière. Il n'y a pas de moustiquaire au fenêtre. Mais le pire sont les bestioles dans le lit. L'hôtel est sûrement infesté de punaises de lit. On n'a pas pu dormir le reste de la semaine. Si vous voulez passer de belles vacances, n'allez pas à cet hôtel, surtout pas avec des enfants.

Hotel tres bien situé, Chambre confortable et tres propre. Personnel agréable mais ne reserve rien pour les clients (n'a pas voulu nous reserver le bateau pour alcatraz et n'a pas voulu confirmer notre vol retour) Petit déjeuner tres mediocre : seulement du jus d'orange et pomme et des muffins tres sucres

“Don't Book This Hotel”

This is called America's Best Extended Stay, so I was led to expect a certain level of quality, Not so! This is an old hotel quickly made over with the new name added (but the old name still on the door, very confusing when you drive in). The lobby was old and dirty. The desk staff either didn't speak English understandably or were so obsessed with the internet that they weren't on task. There was no doorman, no one to help with luggage, and no luggage rack to bring things up to the rooms. The elevator was so small that it barely would accomodate 3 people, much less accomodate people plus luggage. The room had great bedding and a nice hardwood floor, but only a little fridge and microwave, which is OK for a typical hotel but not an Extended Stay, which feature kitchenettes. The bathroom was clean but the tub took at least 10 minutes to drain, so you would stand in 6 inches of water in just a short shower. It was cold in SF but there was no heat till the city inspector came in, and then the heat came on for a few minutes deep in the cold night. Just saying, not what you'd expect from the chains.

Thr Hotel is old and showing its age , The front desk people are great and very helpful . The area is full nof bums and beggers that gets on your wick very soon , but just a block away you are in the heart of the city and all it has to offer .

“good location”

I picked this hotel for the location and wasnt disappointed. Ok the area isnt the best, there are a few homeless people around the street (but there were actually homeless people all over the city when you actually look, and i didnt have any problems from them (and i was a woman travelling alone). The hotel itself doesnt look much from the outside, and theres not much to it, but the room was comfortable and clean, it had a fridge, microwave, kitchen sink and coffee making equipment, as well as a tv, hairdryer, iron and board and also a fan. Everything i needed for the little time i spent in my room (as most of my time was spent out and about). The cable cars are only a 5-10 min walk away, as are the historic street cars/buses and underground muni, so for transportation to the rest of the city its ideally placed. Macys and other high end stores are also just 5-10 mins walk away. Theres plenty of places to eat near by. The staff were really friendly and helpful and i was able to use their phone to call my tour companies to comfirm my day trips and pick up times. There were complimentary muffins, juice and coffee in the morning for breakfast from 7am til 10am. All in all agood experience. I would definatley stay here again if i was on a budget but wanted to be in the city area.

“Good deal for the money”

Friendly effecient staff. Convenient location to transportation and Union Square. The neighborhood is not the best with many homeless people. But if you just go on about your business, the homeless go on about their business. Although the room was small, it was clean and quiet. We happened to be on the backside of the hotel, so had no street noise to disturb us. We also were able to keep the window open at night to keep the room cool as there was no air conditioning.
