Beau concept à améliorer
Beau concept à peaufiner. Trois mur, le quatrième étant ouvert sur une piscine et mini cascade avec vue sur les pitons et la plage de sugar beach. Mais vu que c'était très venteux cette année, il n'y a pas de calme dans la chambre. Il faudrait pouvoir fermé le côté route hermétiquement et pas seulement avec des lamelles de bois, car le bruit et le vent passent. Service un peu trop présent à notre goût. Restaurant à éviter, très mal éclairé et cher. Lui préférer le Boucan qui était excellent.

Merveilleux
A peine sortis de notre taxi, npus avons été accueillis par une hôtesse qui nous a offert un succulent cocktail de fruits frais locaux, puis nous a présenté les différents parties communes de l'hôtel. Elle nous a ensuite accompagnés à notre chambre et présenté les différents équipements, dont le téléphone portable que l'on peut emporter en dehors de l'hotel pour éventuellement joindre la réception gratuitement. La situation géographique de l'hotel est exceptionnelle, le cadre hyper romantique. Le restaurant "Dasheene" sert de le bonne nourriture mais les tarifs sont très élevés. C'est d'ailleurs le seul bémol de notre séjour car pour manger autre chose il nous a fallu prendre le taxi pour le centre-ville de Soufrière qui coute 30 $US aller-retour si commandé par l'hotel.

Hôtel très tranquille!
Pour ceux qui ont besoin de se retrouver dans un environnement paisible, je suggere fortement. Par contre 8 nuits dans mon c'est trop long puisqu'il n'y a rien a faire a part se reposer.. Je suggere un maximum de 5 nuits. Je deconseille le spa très dispendieux pour les soins et environnement du spa. Le reste etait parfait, groupe de musique a tout les soirs, reggae, saxophone wow! Chambre magnifique, le reveil avec les oiseaux sur notre lit et sur les tables de chevets, pour moi c'etait le paradis. Pour reussir a trouver le someil bon bouchon requis car les criquets font beaucoup de bruits et les chambres sont a air ouvert sur la mer.

Très bel endroit
Situation exceptionnelle de l'hôtel situé en hauteur des deux pitons de la soufrière. Chambre avec vue vers l'ouest dominant la plage et la baie, ouverte sur la nature et le bruit des oiseaux, mais également sur le bruit des automobiles et motos qui passent la nuit sur la route juste derrière les chambres !! La pluie s'est malheureusement invitée la première matinée. Pour visiter les environs, une voiture de location est obligatoire sinon taxis chers....

Our stay at Ladera was nothing short of enchanting! We spent almost a week in this paradise on earth. The grounds were meticulously maintained, and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. We couldn't resist taking countless photos of the mesmerizing scenery! Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and professional. While I wouldn't classify Ladera as a top-tier luxury hotel, it undoubtedly ranks among the most splendid places we've ever had the pleasure of staying. Each morning, we woke up to the tropical sun, birds singing and the gentle caress of the jungle breeze. What an unforgettable experience! Although Ladera features only one on-site restaurant, it exceeded our expectations (as some reviewers mentioned it was repetitive). While we ventured to dine at a few other places, including the Sugar Beach Resort restaurant, none could rival the culinary delights we found at Darsheen. Despite the several bug bites during our stay, the allure of the open-air rooms was worth it. By the way, the room was equipped with insect repellant, after bite, eye mask, earplugs, binoculars, etc, and the US power sockets. I wholeheartedly recommend Ladera to anyone seeking a truly magical retreat. From its idyllic setting to its impeccable service, it's an experience not to be missed. 😊We plan to come back 😊

A truly amazing experience. We stayed for 4 nights in a paradise ridge room with a small pool in the room. The view of the pitons is simply spectacular and you feel immersed in nature. We had a few birds wander in and out from the open end of the room. Had no issue at all with mosquitoes mentioned in other reviews. We love to sleep in cold temperatures and the lack of AC was not much of an issue. A cool breeze every night even required a light cover. The staff is simply amazing, professional and extremely accommodating. Caroline worked some magic getting us a reservation at Orlando’s in Soufrière, which in my view is a must visit. All in all, the visit exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend a stay at Ladera. Well worth the money. We are already making plans for our kids to visit on their anniversaries.

We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the staff. The groundskeepers liked to share their knowledge of all the plants on the property. Reception staff was always available to help with transportation to and from destinations. I'm glad they give you a cell phone for use during your stay. Each room is different but they all have the in room plunge pool overlooking the bay. Because we liked the Dasheen restaurant, we never had to venture outside the resort to try other restaurants. Althought the resort was fully booked it never seemed crowded and you didn't run into many other guest while wandering the property. The hiking trails around the property led you to some wonderful views of the Pitons and ventured to unique areas around the property, like the tree house.

Don’t have enough good things to say about Ladera. From Melissa at the front desk to Ray the gardener, the staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. They were extremely accommodating in helping us make our honeymoon perfect and always made sure we had a safe ride to and from where we wanted to go - even when we made last minute changes to our plans. I cannot wait to return to this resort, it is truly something special. Feel so lucky to have been able to stay there!

Stayed at Ladera for my birthday and my boyfriend and I had the most amazing, tranquil, and fun experience! Rohan and Devonte particularly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable! No need for a fourth wall with our spectacular view from our paradise ridge room and no need for ac with such beautiful weather in December. The bar/dasheene restaurant staff were also amazing and made you feel at home by learning our names and their warm welcomes each day. Thank you Ladera!

This property was the 1st of our stays in St Lucia and was beautiful with great service, food and stunning views and comfortable bed! The gym was great too. Would definitely go back! Things to note - the rooms are open to the elements so if mosquitos love you (like me), go very prepared with coils and repellent. It is warm at night, but they provide fans which generally do the trick. They charge for non continental items on the ‘free breakfast’ which is pretty cheeky. So I wouldn’t go for a breakfast included option for extra, because it’s not. An excellent stay and twice as good as Hotel Rabot (chocolat) over the road.

This resort is amazing. It has the best views and most acomodating staff. We stayed at a beach resort the same week as well, but Ladera was the best. You must stay here if you're coming to St. Lucia.

Amazing food and great and friendly staff. I didn't plan anything but the conceirge set up everything for me to do for the week. Only thing to keep in mind is that it is an open concept so be aware of what you are getting into. It can get really warm and bugs can get annoying but an amazing experience regardless

I can’t say enough about Ladera! The staff were beyond welcoming, always smiling, always accommodating. I can’t single out just one person because the service was incredible but our butlers, wow, we were very pampered. The view from our room was out of this world spectacular. The hotel is beautiful, the food at Dasheene, delicious. If you think you are having second thoughts because of the open room concept, no worries, they have everything set up to make this a perfect paradise. We will definitely be returning, absolutely perfect resort!
