From 1 to 10 my rate for this resort will be a 4 the place to assert extent is OK, I feel like they’re entertainment should be better Also, the recruiting crew are really press about you becoming a member they are constantly harassing you about taking a tour that ends at the headquarters for you to become a member. I feel like when you are on vacation it’s for you to relax. Therefore, if you’re constantly getting harassed to take a tour for you to become member it’s a little annoying.

I enjoyed the food and the pleasant atmosphere of the area. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, however, the only issue I encountered was the hardness of the bed. I wanted to sleep in it so badly, but my body ached at night, possibly because I am used to a softer mattress. The service at the restaurant was great, with some waiters being especially friendly and accommodating. I’m coming back!

Not our first time staying at this property and it's always on the top of our list still. Very economical, lots to do, close to Ocean World, can go to resort beside and eat included or even lounge by their pool/s. Cons: Ocean is very rough at this location, rooms are very basic,

You get what you pay for……. The rooms are outdated and run down, AC in rooms suck, there were like 5 lizards staying in the room with us (free of charge) but we made the best of our trip. There is a lot of entertainment which was great. Restaurant reservations are super hard to get. WiFi was garbage! (Which is an additional charge per day) If you are forced to wear the blue VIP band they are going to harass you to attend this timeshare event which they tell you it’s a regular tour of the property but it’s not. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall I would go to puerto plata again but not to sure if I would stay here again.

Property was easy to get around Buffet was ok Restaurants were difficult to get times even when we were 1st in-line at times we were told to be there to sign up and all restaurants were not open every night Our room was great other than no hot water in our room Cabanas by the ocean we’re awesome Bars in VIP area were great the pools were good and nightly entertainment was ok Communication was tough however I only speak English and had a hard time understanding the employees All in all I’d rate it at 3.5 stars out of 5 and would consider going back

I paid for a reservation at Lifestyle Tropical and was given a substandard room at the Confresi Palm. .Alex at Guest Services refused to provide an explanation but offered an upgrade if I paid an additional fee. There were periodical black outs, intermittent hot water and my TV did not work. The concierge hijacked half my day on a tour of what I could have if I joined their vacation club.

Our stay at lifestyles was not a good experience at all. When we booked through Expedia we were told it was a tropical lifestyles stay and they put us in a completely different hotel called Confresi palms. The room was dirty with mold all over the windows and furniture. The sink was blocked with nasty water and wouldn’t drain. The property smelled like sewer and the whole place was not clean at all. The only decent about this stay was some of the staff. Even if the food was not good the cooks tried to be accommodating. The guys at the omlet bar,pizza station and fish station were friendly. The rest of the stay was awful. Especially the lady at the front desk. She was disrespectful and very rude.

I didnt Like the fact we requested one bed room with one bed and got two and they didn’t even bother to you our room when we ask. They refused and the front desk people were rude. The room was old style not fixed good and the shower headed water was horrible. I wasn’t pleased at all
