Stay was fine for the most part. The only issue we had was the building is a bit older and not well maintained. The elevator broke down and my 11 yr old got stuck in it and the fire department had to come and fix it. Took the stairs the rest of the stay. She was a bit shaken up but okay in the end. Not a fun experience while on vacation.

Our room was nice, spacious, and in good repair. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was good. The only fault I could find was the fitness room was out of sanitizing wipes and could've used a box of tissues on the counter. The property is easy to find, just off the freeway, but there wasn't much noise from the traffic. We had a great experience, we'll be back.

Aside from the new nice carpet, the rooms need updated with electrical outlets for usb cords, the bathroom was tiny and dumpy! When sitting on the toilet, the toilet paper was low and behind your butt and hard to reach. the sink is low and no counter space. Needs a renovation!

Ehh..
Overall the hotel was fine. Good location for what we were there for, but downside of that was it was VERY noisy. Both outside and inside... Walls are thin. If you're a heavy sleeper, you're fine. But both outside traffic/car noise every night and one night of called in noise complaints from kids running & jumping the floor above causing our light fixtures to shake.... didn't leave for good night sleep any of the 3 nights we stayed. Will you always have kids above you? No. And I'm a parent of 3, so don't get me wrong, I get it that it's not always silent... but enough to shake the light fixtures of the room below is not cool. Outsider noise... well you never know I suppose. We all came home without major issues or bed bug bites, so I call it successful. Probably would try elsewhere next time.

Good Place to Stay
The cleanliness of the hotel overall was good. The breakfast was very well planed with fruit, bread, protein and milk and juices. The location was ideal for us as off the freeway onramp.

Very spacious suite. Super clean and comfortable. Parking well lit at night. Nice view of the lake. Convenient to food, gas, and shopping. Staff friendly and helpful. Would book again when in the area.

Fam Reunion Preparations
We had a family reunion in Orem and wanted to stay close by to the Orem City Park for our reunion. We wanted to have access to a kitchen for our party preparations, which TownePlace Suites had. We were very very happy with the kitchen with it's large and spacious fridge.

It was lovely to have a place to call home for my stay. It was nice to come “home” and cook my own meal. However, the bed was a marshmallow and the pillows smelled dirty/sweaty. It was not conducive to a restful night’s sleep. I would recommend rotating the bed for longer wear in the short term but replacing it soon. The pillows need a good sanitizing wash with bleach.

The king size bed was very comfortable, but the pull-out sofa bed was not comfortable at all. Wish we had gotten a room with two beds instead of a king with a pull-out sofa.

Room was full of problems wasnt fully cleaned toilet wouldnt flush right phone was unplugged for some reason. Also people on top of out room for 3 days straight were making noise all through the day and night and magement didnt seem to want to move them or us part of the oven didnt work noce outside but room was terroble

UVU college years and graduation
Have stayed here before a few times. Rooms are big. Havent had any issues. Would recommend staying here, and would do so again ourselves if we go down that way again
