Exceeded high expectations

We were seeking an authentic bed and breakfast and this one exceeded our expectations. Bill and Eleanor are phenomenal hosts. They will stay up late for incoming guests who have problems with flights, etc., and are up every morning to provide a different, wonderful breakfast. BIll is a treasure trove of information and was spot on regarding places to visit and day trips to take. The rooms are beautiful, with character from the 1800s. We appreciated how clean our rooms and the entire inn was. It's obvious how much care they've poured into remodeling their inn, keeping to it's authentic origins.

Relaxing evenings

I was there on business but at the end of the day, combing back to Jacob Hill Inn was a wonderful, relaxing experience. Every detail and need was met with graciousness by Eleonora and Bill from the moment of my arrival until my departure including written directions, suggestions for restaurants and a tour of the property with it's history. Breakfast each day was artfully presented and delicious, and my conversations with Bill regarding guns were always interesting. If I am ever able to get there again, I will most definitely stay!

Visit was September 13th Wednesday Night, 2017 ..

The Jacob Hill Inn was simply wonderful. The room was superb, the bed was beyond comfortable. The ability to park thirty five feet from the lobby was wonderfully convenient. The hosts (Bill and Eleanor) were more than half the fun of the overall experience. They are absolutely two of the most charming people that I have ever encountered anywhere on earth. Billl's extensive baseball card collection and the portion of same that is for sale. was very entertaining. Bill's explanation of the intensive restoration that he and his brother and his friend undertook for eight years was not only fascinating, but also very very very impressive. The property is magnificent and includes a well maintained tennis court and a great swimming pool that is only a very few steps from any room that any guest or guests may have. My girlfriend and I took advantage of the lovely hammock that is also a very few steps from the Lobby building. We enjoyed this quaint feature upon our arrival with a complimentary glass of superb Chardonnay , and, after dinner at a well known local restaurant that is only five minutes away (The Olde Grist Mill) we came back in the evening and , again enjoyed the hammock as we looked up at the stars over the beautiful field that is also on the property. The lovely table overlooking the waterfall at the Olde Grist Mill Inn was graciously arranged for us by our gracious host Bill! All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you, hosts

Unexpected yet pleasant surprise!

We were in Providence for a Parents Weekend at Brown. The local major hotel brands were booked, so we "settled" for the Inn, which was a bit off the beaten path. What a pleasant surprise! We will go back many times. The place is first rate all the way. Immaculate. Peaceful. Super engaged owners, who work very hard. Also, it was 12 minutes from PROV and was more convenient that expected. A billiard room in the barn was pretty cool as well.

High quality B&B.

This unique, high quality B&B managed by extremely well organised, very pleasant and professional couple is ideally situated to visit Boston,Newport,Bristol,Cape Cod and many other endearing towns situated in this part of New England. The attention to detail, quality of food (Breakfast) and the engaging,helpful approach of the staff cannot be understated. Highly recommended.

Muchas gracias a sus simpáticos y acogedores propietarios que nos hicieron pasar una excelente estadía. La atención esmerada y amable es insuperable, así como el delicioso desayuno preparado con sus propias manos. El lugar está llenos de lindos detalles, es impecable y los servicios superaron nuestras expectativas. Además del wifi, desayuno y estacionamiento ofrecidos, el baño también tenía jacuzzi. Se respira paz y tranquilidad, para nosotros fue ideal que no hubiera niños. Lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados.

Nice business travelers surprise

I was traveling for business and found this option on Expedia, and it was absolutely wonderful. I only needed to be there a night, and wished I could have stayed longer. Quaint with exceptional service and classic accommodations.

A little bit disappointed, as it is advertised as a "luxury" B&B, the amenities-towels, soaps,shampoos were average at best. There was no where to walk to get a meal, and they only served breakfast.

This couple are friendliest & most helpful people

Our hosts greeted us upon arrival. they freely upgrades our room. No effort was spared to make us comfortable and welcome. the room was immaculate, positively pristine! The entire facility glows with perfect 1723 reconstruction. Every little detail is perfect and well designed.

Seekonk Hidden Gem

We live in Seekonk and were looking for a place to stay while we were having some work done at our home. We stumbled upon Jacob Hill Inn and even though we have lived in Seekonk for some time, had never heard about this wonderful B&B. Simply put, best place we have ever stayed and we will go back when we just need a getaway, but do not want to be far from home.

"Loved it!"

I'd never stayed at a B&B before, but at my daughter's encouragement, I decided to give it a try. What a wonderful experience! Bill and Eleanora are the best hosts on the planet! Our room was clean and eloquent. I fell in love with the large jacuzzi tub and their breakfast - which included several of their top rated recipes - just delicious! My only regret was that we were so busy helping my oldest move into her dorm that I didn't get to take advantage of their beautiful grounds or their game room! Maybe next time!

Totally beyond epectations!!

We weren't sure if we should believe all the wonderful reviews, but our stay was wonderful. Elenora and Bill are superb hosts, better than family. Everything was clean, the welcome honest and delightful, the breakfast were great, and the willingness to offer assistance for our visit genuine. With out a doubt we recommend your stay at the Jacob Hill Inn.

A Charming Home Base

Jacob Hill Inn is a wonderfully restored B&B with a long history. Bill and Eleanora clearly put an enormous amount of work into transforming this colonial-era farm house into a clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and charming B&B. Prior to showing up, I was wary that we might be staying in an old, dusty, creaky place - like your great-grandma's attic - but I was instead pleasantly surprised at the work Bill put into making the place at once new and comfortable while retaining it's historical charm. We used this as a home base to explore the Cape Cod region - more than an hour away to begin with, but it was by far the nicest B&B at which to stay. That, plus Eleanora's fine breakfasts and Bill & Eleanora's friendly, welcoming nature and hospitality, made the Jacob Hill Inn a permanent place on my list of Places To Stay.
