My boyfriend and I booked the cheapest hotel/motel/inn (Nordic Inn & Suites) we could find on expedia in the area. We assumed at that price, it’d be a crappy motel with an uncomfortable bed and pillows, thinking you get what you pay for. Our mouths dropped when we walked in our room. The room far exceeded our expectations. The bed and pillows were comfortable, doors lock properly, and the aesthetic/design was beautiful! We had a very pleasant experience at Nordic Inn & Suites.

We stayed here before and liked it enough to return. Clean, reasonable price. It’s an older facility but well maintained. Some rooms have good-sized kitchens.

Staff were friendly and quick to address any concerns. The only thing I was not used to was having the policy of daily housekeeping; it is not something that I was comfortable with, as I had experienced a mishap of cleaning staff accidentally breaking into my container full of medication. When I had returned from my day out, I had seen that the medications were unwrapped and placed into a paper cup. I just had wished that travelers had an option of having room service scheduled.

My 5 night stay was fine. The location is convenient to the airport and major highways. The bathroom is not full figured friendly but all is was fine.

Staff not really welcoming. No smile. The Britney on the stove showed it’s on. No way to turn off. Perfume smell in the room too strong cannot breath had to leave room door open to vent the smell.

We needed a room in this location and were pleasantly surprised to have such a clean well-cared for room. It had a full kitchen, which we didn't need a comfy bed, and a quiet room near the back of the property. Definitely the best bet for under $100 per night.

Loved the 2 bedroom suite - wish the kitchen was stocked with some cooking and eating items. And the fridge had a crazy motor running 😬. But I was happy with the accommodations and staff!!!!

Room was super clean! Staff super friendly! I have OCD and I checked everything! Everyday housekeeping came in to refresh towels and emptied trash! Love the kitchen where I could prepare meals! Very friendly front desk clerk. Everything was really clean and well kept. Linens were soft and very clean. Very quiet at night. About 5 minute drive from Portland Intl Airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Ease of check in. The deposit was high at $250 and is fully withdrawn if paying with debit or cash. Expedia did not list this on the site, I would have taken cash had it been listed. Please list this in the future. I would stay again.

Cute LITTLE room. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Thank goodness only booked for 1 night as we could hear traffic and trains so much so we didnt get any sleep. Can't blame the hotel but it did make for a long day the day we checked out.

Well the staff is super helpful . Rooms are clean and well supplied . The not issue I would have is the location . It’s a drive away from Everything and as well not the best area although no one bothers you and it seems safe on hotels grounds .

Stayed here for one night before leaving Portland early next morning. Room was clean and had all the essentials to make it comfortable. The shower was inconveniently small however, and I found it hard to prevent water from splashing outside of the shower.

Horrendous Experience, Do Not Stay at Nordic Inn!
Nordic Inn & Suites let a homeless person into my room and leave their stuff in my room. When asked to view the camera footage, I was not shown the camera footage to see who entered my room. I had a guitar, BMX bike, and a utility cart with personal belongings left in my room. None of these items were mine. Outside of the issue of letting a homeless person into my room. I had specifically requested no cleaning service to come to my room, and yet the cleaning ladies still came in and only did a partial cleaning. It makes no sense why they would do a partial cleaning and leave someone else's stuff in my room. They made the bed, but left the pillows on the TV stand. They replaced the towels, but did not replace the soaps. None of the stories that were provided by the employees or manager make logical sense. The excuse I was provided by the employee and Jitin (Inn Manager) was that the cleaning ladies do not speak English and only speak Spanish. So, the cleaning ladies took the other "guest's" belongings and placed them in my room instead of a garage on the premises. I am not sure how the words garage and Room 18 can be misinterpreted in English or Spanish. The story seems quite unrealistic and made up to cover themselves. This was an overall horrible experience! I came back late at night after a long day and wanted to just relax and go to bed, but instead I had to deal with all this nonsense. Never stay at Nordic Inn & Suites

We apologize for all the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Similar to what we told you previously--our team explained to you that this occurrence has never happened, and that it was due to a miscommunication from our housekeeping team. To clear up the explanation you have been given, the garage was next to the room you were given, and this is where the miscommunication came from. In order to fix this mistake, we did refund you for the night's stay. Again, we are truly sorry for this.
