They have little if any area for a dog walk. The property is showing wear and tear from usage. It had been remodeled but it looked like it was done by a group of amateurs. There was a hole in the laminate flooring, paint was chipping off the wall, the breakfast was not what it used to be. I could go on and on about the lack of upkeep. It is now one of the many motels/hotels where the owners are milking every dime they can for profit at the expense of letting the facility go downhill.

This hotel has great pictures of their lobby, but the rooms we were put in were not clean. We had what appeared to be dried dog urine on our floors (dried up yellow liquid in the corners by the bed), dog hair on the bed, an empty soda bottle, socks, and food on the floor in our first assigned room. It’s very dog friendly as we could hear dogs next door and watched many people staying bring larger dogs out the back into an area to use the restroom. Dogs being allowed is not a problem, if you can keep your rooms clean after stays. We have had dogs and traveled with them in the past, but if you can’t clean properly then it’s an issue. The second room they sent us to had huge chunks of drywall missing with what looked like mold. I spoke with the front desk, after the first room and just asked for a refund and the manager refused and charged us the first night (we had to do everything through Expedia and they directly called the manager on our behalf). She never returned our message to call us, never came out despite the sign saying she was “on duty”. They sent up a sweet gentleman on the first room to see the condition of our room and he told them we needed a new room. Since we were not refunded, we stayed and left after the first night and went to a different hotel. We had an awful experience!

Whenever I go to Panama City Beach, this is where I stay. It's close to dining & shopping. It's quiet. As a single woman traveling alone, I feel safe staying here

Overall my experience at this La Quinta hotel was okay. I will say the room did not have any comforters to keep us warm. But it was nice and quiet.

Staff did minimal to help with stay and very Condescending when asking a question.The breakfast was terrible, seemed like they used a microwave to cook meat and eggs. I won't stay again.

The room was with the simil leather upholtery all aged (peeled upholtery). Furniture in frontvof the bed in bad shape (aged need to be replaced) No water bottles as courtesy.

The bathroom floor was dirty, the tub surrond and tile was chipped and very dirty. The beds only had 2 sheets on it, even with the heat turned up i slept in a sweatshirt. Fridge running was so loud i unplugged it to sleep. Location of the hotel is great, but updates are needed to facility

It was a nice stay . The covers are thin and I was cold the entire stay ! The staff was excellent!! The bathroom had socks from previous guest under sink . And no hot water !!! We will still stay again . Over all it was good !

Rust in the bathrooms and musty smell in the room. I don’t really expect luxury from a LaQuinta, but I definitely wouldn’t stay at this one again. There’s a lovely new Comfort Inn and Suites right up the road. I’d check that out instead.

Anytime I travel to Panama City Beach, I stay here. It's quiet and close to many places for shopping & dining. Check-in ia always a breeze and the staff is always nice.

The most disappointed I’ve been with a La Quinta
We stayed at this hotel as a treat to ourselves since we had been staying in a Airbnb previously that week. We should’ve stayed at the Airbnb. The service here was awful. I needed to do an early check in and attempted to call the hotel to ask if this was okay. No one answered the phone. Since no one answered the phone, I arrived in person. There was no one at the front desk and an employee that happened to be around told me to come back in an hour. When I finally got into the room, there was 1 hand towel, a mini bottle of lotion and 1 mini shampoo for 2 people for 3 days. I had to go to the front desk and ask multiple times for towels. Also, I discovered later that night there was no hair dryer provided and for reasons unknown they couldn’t provide my room one. The front desk was noticeably unfriendly and never said hello, goodbye or asked me about my stay. It frankly felt like I was bothering them by asking for the basic amenities that come with a hotel room. My key card was even deactivated about an hour before check out without an explanation. We checked out on time but the cards no longer working made taking bags to the car annoying. The room itself was fine. There was a substantial crack in the sink that made it leak but the jacuzzi tub was very nice.

This property is a mile away from the beach which is fine. They get a significant amount of construction workers. Those workers are quite. All staff is really good and friendly. Breakfast is basic, but includes eggs and meat. We enjoy the location because it's an easy drive to the beach and to a local conservation park where we walk.

Best ever
I surprised my husband with the suite that had the Jacuzzi in it and omg it was amazing. The girl at the front desk was amazing and very friendly. And the breakfast was delicious. The bacon was perfect and the pineapple juice was good it tasted like they just squeezed it fresh . We will be back . I have my birthday coming up in January I will be coming back. It's worth the pay . Thank you to the staff at the hotel for doing y'all jobs .

Not hot water - warm at best
The room was fine- a little dated and kind of dirty if you looked to hard but for $50 a night I was fine with all of that until I took a shower… the water was like warm at best, not hot at all- I would not stay here again for that reason alone

No way stay
It’s been a long while since I got somewhere that was THIS bad. The bathroom and corners were literally rusted and growing mold, I spilled water and went to wipe it from the floor and the white towel came back almost black. I then took the towel and tried to clean the disgusting floor. We had two towels for three people as well as almost no toilet paper. Also, upon leaving, a deaf man with a service animal was asked to remove his dog from the dining area! What?!? When the family asked for the name of the employee, they refused to give it. I literally will never come back here or any other La Quinta for that matter.

We stay here often for when we're in the area for travel ball tournaments. Wished they would start their breakfast at 630 though bc we always have the 8am game and have to be at the fields at 7- and their breakfast is good!! Always nice and clean!

I have stayed here multiple times within the last couple years. Hotel is clean overall and not overly priced. Comfortable beds. On this visit, shower would not get hot, deterioration showing in bathroom and breakfast staff not very friendly.
