Not for boating
We had called to make sure that we would be able to bring our boat and have a dock for it and space for our trailer, They said yes so we booked. The marina/nor hotel would have had a place to leave your trailer but we were able to park in the hotel parking lot because it was off season. Our room was on the far side of the building with a view of tree tops. We had asked for water view. Their "beach area" was not clean and a very small area plus you had a long walk just to get to it. There were not restaurants in the area. Will not be going back.

getting lost in the 21st centure
If you are on vacations, it couldn't be better place to stay, almost ideal. But be aware you won't be able to track your business, stay in touch with the family etc - the restaurant on spot is bad, the wifi is horrible and land line is even worse. But what is even worse than those two - there is no even a frontdesk, the place is maintained by a neighbor Wyndham or something. Needless to say, the typical answer there is "we don't know" or "we aren't entitled to do anything". Apart of that, the place is so tranquil that if it would have been taken over by somebody who is willing to fix the communication, we would definetily book our next vacation stay there.

Very pleasant, ground floor with patio, pool was just a few steps away. Excellent rooms, the kitchenette was very nice for preparing breakfast. The location was very quiet, but yet very accessible to everything. I needed a wheel chair accessible bath room and I could get my wheel chair in without problems.

cons: the rooms were nice besides the dust on the furniture and the fans i dont think were ever dusted. lack of linens for pull out couch until asked for. lack of lights for night time tennis. kitchen area could be bigger like neighbor marriott. pro: great pools and nice and quite.

Staff not friendly or accommodating.
Requested extra towels three times. First call to front desk the lady was very rude about the towels. Second call the next day to request towels given a spill about the extra cost for more towels and etc. I stated I would pay the extra fee. Still no towels!!!!! Call back a third time given another story about towels and was actually directed to the washing machine!!! Again willing to pay the extra fee. I am on vacation and I just want to enjoy myself . Finally when we get the towels housekeeper very rude and gives my guest an attitude about the towels .

my husband said "its too nice"
I enjoyed our "too nice" accommodations very much and the price was very reasonable for such a large space....living room, dining, kitchen, master bedroom suite.

Quite getaway
my wife and I needed the little getaway, so you chose this place.it was very quaint and the room was very nice. there was a full kitchen with refrigerator stove and sink. Pots, pans and utensils were all available in the unit. We will definitely go back.

Great get-a-way
We stayed at this resort on the way to St. George Island. Our suite was large and beautiful: very comfortable bed and lots of space. We did have problems with TV reception on the 2nd day. We reported the problem but it was not addressed. Lovely setting for walking.

A Lucky Find
The 4 pm check-in was somewhat inconvenient and when we went in to ask about early check-in availability, the girl staffing the front desk was less than kind and pompous, and unwilling to help and unsympathetic to our cause or concerns. We are out-of-town with no where to go. She did say we would get a call when room was ready and we did, but by another person who was very nice. The room was very nice. Some concerns were a white spot on the sleeper sofa (?), the fan in the bedroom was old and made ticking sounds unless on slowest speeds. The mattress felt comfortable, but left me with a very bad back-ache, but not sure about that. Aside from those things, the room was very comfortable and my companion loved it said she felt like she was living like a millionaire. lol It's an older place that has been updated. Being on the second floor, the people above us made some noise late at night, but I think this is anywhere. Bottom line. I would recommend.

This hotel was close to the beach and a great atmosphere with comfort. My family loved it and the kitchen was suitable for us as well.

Very pleasant stay!!!
This was our families first visit to Pananma City Beach. We had a wonderful stay!!! Everything was perfect! The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and there were free washers and dryers onsite. We will definately visit again!!!!

Panama City Beach VACA!
The villas were very clean and spacious,the 2bd rm villa was great for kids, entertaining , and privacy for both bathrooms and sleeping quarters. The kitchen had every dish, knife, spoon, and etc...no need to purchase extra goods...It was a little hard to locate the check in desk but other than that we hated to leave.

Great Getaway
We had a short holiday in one of the villas here. Everything was grand. The biggest complaint, which isn't much of one, was that it was far away from the main pool area and boardwalk to the private beach. The room was quite clean; but since it is a timeshare rental, housekeeping does not come daily. However, we were given enough basic supplies (dishwasher detergent, soap, towels) that we didn't mind not having someone pick up after us. We definitely did not have the kind of horror story some reviews suggest.

Much to like
We reserved this hotel sight unseen. We were so pleased when we arrived. Location was great for us. Only a 10 minute Drive to panama city beach. We enjoyed the pool and beach on the hotel grounds. The restaurant "LIMES" on the grounds was great. We ate 2 of our meals there. Everything about the hotel room Was much better than others I have stayed in. We also were close to 2 grocery stores. We definitely will stay here again.

CLEAN IT UP!!
If they would CLEAN the rooms (and the grimey pool outside of the rooms) then it would be an AMAZING hotel... Other than it being EXTREMELY confusing to figure out where to check-in and our room and the pool being filthy, it would have been an incredible experience. And if the staff would have been more helpful...Seriously...offering a free cleaning the morning people are checking out (when check out is at 10am) is NOT an acceptable solution to the problem!!

Would rather stay at holiday inn
First time staying at a Holiday Inn Villa. Had problems with check in. Had to go back to the check in building to get reassigned to the room we requested. Maid service does not come with room price. Nice area if you play golf. Room furniture was dated and worn. For the price I would rather have stayed in a Holiday Inn Hotel with full services.

Not so Holiday Inn
At first, the female at check in was on a personal phone call and would not hang up the phone. I had to stare continuously to get her off the phone with her "friend". the door to the bathroom would not close all the way and finally came off the track (and I couldn't get it back on) and I couldn't get anyone to fix the door. The room was too small. I left and went to another resort that was more my style and comfort level. The online reservations doesn't explain that the resort is not bay front and does not accomodate enough parking. I expected more class. Although I WILL NOT use this hotel in the future the lady at check out was very, very nice.

As long as you don't expect a housekeeper, OK stay
This hotel charges a fee for housekeeping to come to your room for a fee. There is one bar of soap, one shampoo bottle, one spare roll of toilet paper, one trashcan for the whole room. Don't ask for more or you will be charged for that, too. There is no ice bucket in the room because there is no ice machine. If you bring your own soap and shampoo, don't mind buying all your ice, and taking out all your own trash, and your bed not being made daily with clean towels being changed out, it is a great place to stay. It is quiet and private.

Inadequate room
Extremely disappointed in the accomodation. The room had no chair, no desk, one inadequate lamp on the only beside table. The only thing good about the room was the kingsized bed. Bathroom was adequate. We would never consider staying in this type of accomodation in the future nor would we recomment such to friends. Our previous experience with Holiday Inn had been entirely positive and this was very disappointing. We expected a room with customary Holiday Inn ammenities. What we got was the "spare" room of a condo unit not at all outfitted for guests.

Nice hotel but....
The reception is not located where the rooms are. The rooms do not have a kitchen as I was expecting. There is no maid service. Towel exchange costs $5. There is no free internet access. It costs $10 per night. But the rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable and it was good value for money.

Great Room for the Money
Let me start by explaining that we are a couple that generally looks for a good deal because we spend very little time in our room. Here is what you should expect from this reservation: 1. There is no regular office, but the check in/out office is easy to find, the staff was very friendly and helped us find everything we could want to find around panama city beach. 2. The location is off the beaten path in a very upscale area. I would have been happier in the center of town, but still a 4 star rating because a 10 minute drive will get you just about everywhere you want to go. 3. It is a condo style room with no regular maid and you have to pay for towel service. I will add that there is a free washer and dryer and a large trash receptical not far from the room. The cleaning staff left many garbage bags in our trash can so it wasn't a big deal. 4. The room itself was excellent. Clean, very nicely furnished, comfortable, and very quiet. We had a small balcony to ourselves, but the description is wrong. There is no kitchen on anything but the villas. I was a little disappointed in this website because the description they put against the room said a kitchen. I will add that after reading reviews from other people, the light switches took about 2 minutes to figure out. There were no blown bulbs, the lamps are controlled by two sets of light switches. As long as one of the switches it on it will control the power outlets in the room. We turned them all on and then just turned the lights on and off by using the switches on the lamps. I was suprised by other reviewers complaining about how hard the lights were to figure out (all of the lamps even had 7 year bulbs in them).

I do not recommend this hotel. No staff on duty after 8:30 PM, no daily room servicing, maid service, or WIFI. WIRED internet an extra charge. Doors sticking and difficult to open, no place other than the bed to set your suitcase to unpack/pack. Arrival after hours requires a trip to another hotel gate to pick up a package wit a room key, during daylight ours you must go to ANOTHER HOTEL to find the actual front desk staff. Arrival at the hotel area is uncontrolled since the gate opens automatically however, you need your room key to EXIT the hotel area...unbelievable. Only one trash can in the room. When I called requesting extra towels, I was told to pick some up from the pool area. When checking out and returning the key, the hotel clerk failed to give us the exit code necessary to open the exit gate, prompting a return trip when he did issue the code, he seemed amused that I had a return trip. Pay the extra money and stay next door at the Marriott.

Great Resort, beautiful rooms!
When we arrived at the Resort, it was easy to get information about where we needed to check in, getting a map to the building we were assigned and finding our way there. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the buildings were well maintained and clean. We had access to any and all pools, but decided to use the one closest to our building. The operator was helpful and easy to reach when we had a question and answered truthfully and nicely in order to help us decide what beach to visit. The bed was very comfortable. All in all it was a great experience!

The air conditioner was loud and I don't know if it was working well. the room was nice and the resort was wonderful. for the price it was great. next time i will pay a little more and get a nicer room. it was like a dorm room with a small balcony. there were many pools and hot tubs, tennis and golf and the beach was across the street. I would tell anyone to come to this place. the people were the best part. they were super nice at the Hyatt.

The Only Place I Recommend Staying at in Panama City
Almost everything that you need is at the resort. There are multiple restaurants, tennis courts and pools on the property. Though they are pricey, there is even a spa and a Jack Nicklaus golf course. It is located six miles away from Panama City Beach and six miles away from downtown Panama City, where there are some great local seafood restaurants. The room that I stayed in was located in the golf villa. It was clean and comfortable. However, the room did not have a refrigerator, alarm clock or garbage can. I find having a refrigerator in my room to be a convenience, but you can always call the front desk for a wake-up call or garbage bag. Rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis; instead, they are cleaned after you check-out. If you are there for multiple days, you can pay $5 a day to swap out your towels for clean ones. While I was pleased with the room and the resort and the price that I paid, I did not fully appreciate the resort until I saw the other hotels in the area. Compared to the other hotels in the area, this is a 10-star resort.
