Beautiful location. Staff always greeted us with a smile; Betty, at breakfast, was a gem. Jimmy, at front desk, was courteous and helpful. Continenental breakfast was good. Ocean front location was absolutely breathtaking and convenient. Bed was comfy. Our entire experience was wonderful. Our only recommendation is for management to purcahse more bath towels. They ran out one day, but next morning they were replaced. Houskeeping were fantastic. Again, wonderful stay and we plan to return in the warmer months.

We had a walk-out large room, advertised as partial ocean view. It was convenient to the ocean, but the view was of a sand dune. The beds were comfortable and the ocean was stunning! It’s pet friendly, so there was a lot of perfume to cover up any smell, I guess.

On check-in, we weren't greeted with a friendly and helpful check-in. Instead he was short with us and told us we would need to check back in later. At our check-in time we were told the room wasn't ready and some manager came flying out and scolded the worker at the desk "Isis", despite her being the friendliest and most helpful check-in we had. Frankly, this wasn't the best experience and I don't think I'd recommend staying here in the future.

We have stayed here many times, almost always in the off season (early spring or late fall). Highlights are the peaceful location, indoor and outdoor pool, short walk across the dunes to the beautiful beach, spacious suites with decks or balconies, nice lobby and common area, plenty of outdoor space and tons of free parking, and full breakfast. There really aren’t many disadvantages - maybe a little more wear and tear as compared to when I first started coming here 9 years ago (nothing out of the expected for property that’s not brand new), and there is not an on-site restaurant so you will have to drive a little way (less than 5 miles) or get delivery if you want to eat out…there is an on-site store, and every room I’ve ever stayed in has had a fridge and microwave. Overall, it’s a great place and we plan to keep coming back.

I wish there had been a restaurant or bar on the property. Our room was clean but the bathroom shower tile was in need of repair . Breakfast was good and warm cookies at the front desk when we arrived were delicious.

When we checked in the staff was awesome, we received the wrong room, but the staff was so very awesome and helpful. However, when I mentioned I have not slept whatsoever, I will be on the road tomorrow and I need a good nights sleep. This bearded young man told me the following, "since you reserved a room through a third party, we cannot do anything to jelp you, next time book your stay through Hilton and we can help you with these issues." I responded, that your customer service lacks. "He responded, well, that is just the way it is." I am a Hilton Honors Reward member. It upsets me to be treated such as this by such a rude individual as he ridiculed me for booking my stay through TRIVAGO. This is simply uncalled for.

The room was spectacular! Very spacious and clean. Had a small balcony that let us see the sunset on the Currituck sound every night! Access to the beach was via a boardwalk that was connected/joined to the hotel. Would recommend this hotel anytime!

Lovely beachfront property. If you visit in the off-off season be aware there is not much to do in Corolla (we stayed in February). Staff was great. Free Breakfast has great options (eggs, waffles, grits, oatmeal)

staff were very friendly. Rooms very large with high ceilings and clean. I enjoyed the our personal deck with chairs to sit in. Indoor hot tub perfect. I liked we could walk our dogs on the beach. Breakfast was great. As expected! Also bonus is free cookies at the front desk in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again. Very pleased!

The location is great, the breakfast is good, the staff is good, the cleanliness of the room bad. The bathroom and room entrance floor was sticky.

The Corolla Hampton Inn is a great place to enjoy a brief or longer stay on the Outer Banks. The location is beautiful and beach access is convenient; plus the hotel has the usual great Hampton Inn amenities. It's a short distance to either Duck or Corolla and has a resort feel with indoor and outdoor pools and a lazy river, which we hope to enjoy next summer.

Truly, the best choice for a chain hotel in the Outer Banks. It’s in a upscale area, unlike the other chain hotels in Nags Head, and it felt almost like a private oasis, despite having a full parking lot. People who go to this hotel appear to be looking for the same thing: calm, a pristine beach, and a heated indoor pool.
