Très bon hôtel très propre le personnel au top surtout Victoria au petit déjeuner ou au bar très avenante toujours le sourire et les petits conseils pour les visites… Bravo pour cette qualité, je recommande les yeux fermés !

We arrived early as we had a 2 hour drive to get there and wasn't allowed to check in as it was too early. As we had a family celebration to attend it meant that we couldn't check in till around 9pm so had to leave bags etc in the car. The room was good and clean the staff all pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was good

The property is fine, the pillows are horrible, the tv remote didnt work, the restaurant food is very over priced for what is served. The hotel is fine to stay in and the breakfast is amazing.

Was put in 117 which is a very noisy room all night and barely slept so not accept this room and for the price very poor being honest

Wouldn’t stay again.
On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a superior room in the ‘new wing’. We had booked a superior room anyway. The room was a lot smaller than expected and can’t have been that new as the grouting on the tiles in the bathroom was mouldy. It seemed the old wing was being used as temporary housing for families. The bathroom itself was tiny. If you wanted to use the sink, you had to close the door. This wasn’t ideal if you had used the shower because the bathroom was hot and steamed up. There was no dressing table, just a full length mirror with a plug situated too far away for the hairdryer provided. The room itself was boiling. There was air con but that didn’t work. Our room was on the ground floor with massive windows but all were locked. The room looked onto the car park and main entrance so the curtains had to remain closed. On our first morning, housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30am to ask if we would like our room cleaned. Breakfast on the first morning was terrible. Everything was dried / shrivel up, even the beans had no sauce in them. The second morning was better. After staying in many Doubletree hotels before, this place was a big disappointment.

Ideal for parents visiting students at Uni
We have stayed here several times during our Son's university life at nottingham - it's ideal - loads of free parking, very close to the uni, great breakfast and ALL the staff appear to go the extra mile - rooms are always clean. Please bring back bars of soap!

Will stay here again
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. I will definitely stay here again. I only gave eco-friendliness a medium rating because I saw no sign of anything they are doing on that front - I think it’s an irrelevant thing to rate a hotel on anyway.

Friendly as d helpful staff
From our entry into Hotel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, every staff member we met were all extremely friendly and helpful! Really enjoyed our stay allbeit a short visit!

We booed a room for one night ahead of a Cheerleading competition at the Motorpoint Arena as we needed our 12 year old who was competing to get a good nights sleep. There was a prom taking place in the room beneath ours and we couldn’t get to sleep until 11pm when the prom finished 😞

Unfortunately due to the hotel being fully booked and the room type selected we were unable to move you to an alternative room as we have a limited number of the room type booked. Should you stay again with us in the future please do let us know at the time of booking should you need a quiet room so we can allocate a room in advance or give advance warning.

Excellent, friendly, clean and comfortable. Only negative was evening food. Lots of choice but over-priced for bar setting. Menu was not easy to read in group of four.

Friendly and efficient
We booked the room for a trip to the Download Festival in Donington. Due to traffic issues we arrived extremely late but still received an excellent welcome with complimentary welcome cookies which were gratefully received. My brother is diabetic and on the last morning he suffered a hypo brought on mostly by the extreme heat. The staff who assisted my neice were extremely professional, knowledgeable about what to do and very reassuring to her. I couldn't recommend this hotel and the wonderful staff any more in l tried. They were top class and l will certainly be using them again.
