“Boulevard Hotel Nairobi”
Bonne situation et assez calme. Principalement un hotel de passage pour touristes en attente de leur avion de retour. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas bon, commestible si l'on a faim.
“Friendly atmosphere”
The Garden Bar is a great place to relax with a few Tuskers. All staff are very helpful. If you don't like firm mattresses in may be best avoided - the one in our room was like trying to sleep on a paving slab! Overall a nice informal place, but over-priced for what it is.
“Nice hotel for a few nights.”
A nice hotel a few minutes’ walk from the city center. Clean, spotless rooms overlooking the garden and the museum hill. Surprisingly silent surroundings. Friendly, efficient staff and overall a pleasant hotel to stay at while in Nairobi for a few days. The only negative with the hotel is the food; tasteless, not a feeling of “home cooked” more like a fast food stand. We stayed for three nights and tried together six different dishes, all with the same poor standard. Everything else is of good quality except the food. Besides for that, we can recommend this hotel
“good atmosphere. will be back”
we enjoyed our stay very much. keep up the good work
“Really good value for money”
Very pleased with this hotel. Extremely convenient for city centre (walking distance) but set in lovely gardens in a secure compound. We came back 3 times during our Kenya travels so were here 5 nights in all, and able to leave bags in between. Nice rooms. Really enjoyed the gardens and the swimming pool. Breakfast buffet good, and dinners ok, especially as you can sit on the terrace. Staff really helpful, friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended. My only criticism - exchange rate for currency was over 20% below that offered elsewhere locally, so don't exchange money at the hotel.
“Basic, Clean, friendly and Safe!”
We expected a 2 star hotel so as long as you keep that in mind you'll be pleasantly impressed. For a 2 star hotel it is clean and tidy and comfortable. There is 24hr security gates with guards which I personally felt content with. Also had cable tv in rooms. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and the hotel was conveniently located less than 5mins drive to city centre restaurants and shops. We stayed at the Hilton our first night in Nairobi and Hotel Boulevard was not a huge disappointment as we half expected it to be. Pleasant and modest!
“Looks good”
A pretty hotel. They're renovating these months -- the new rooms look well. It is clean everywhere. Very close to the National Museum.
“Useful stopover”
The Boulevard is fine for a night or two in Nairobi if you're not up for for the very high prices of the city's better hotels. Its rooms are basic, but it has a pleasant pool and garden. The alfresco terrace of its okay dining area overlooks the car-park, but the spacious bar at the back is a good place to enjoy a drink and the evening breeze. But do try to get a room at the back of the hotel - or be sure to take earplugs. You may think as you approach that you are on a quiet tree-lined street, but on the other side of a wall is a main road that is busy with trucks all night through.
“Perfect for one night. Easy access to airport or bus station. Clean, safe + secure.”
This is a great hotel for one night on arrival in Nairobi , or before departure. Easy to locate if you are driving, just off the dual carriageway that leads directly to the international airport (took us 20 mins door to door at 06.30). And a large car park with a guard on the gate 24/7. A pleasant bar that's open till late, adequate restaurant and clean rooms with fans and good hot showers. Curency exchange at reception and excellent breakfast included in the Expedia rate. However if I needed to be in Nairobi for a week I would look for somewhere with more gardens to spend my time.....and a safer environment for walking outside the hotel after dark..
“Set within landscaped gardens with bird life”
The hotel is in a good location and within it's own landscaped gardens which are well tended and are very pretty. It is a place to relax, and has a clean pool, and there is a restaurant with good food and welcoming staff. I stayed with my 9 year old son, and felt very safe here. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The room was simple and clean. They are modernising the hotel, which I think is a shame, as it currently has a charm to the place which I hope is not replaced but something else. I would recommend it and would stay again.
