The room was not properly cleaned at all. We cleaned up and sanitized and saw so much dirt. The shower curtain was filthy but they did change immediately after I notified them but why would housekeeping allow it stay like that in the first place. Out of these things the property is great. The location, food and staff.

It was a very nice and clean property. Great view of the beach, with easy beach access. I read reviews prior about issues with timeshares being push on them. We were never approached or bothered about doing a timeshare tour. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. We did wish that the little store/bistro in the hotel that had ice cream and coffee along with other small goods and drinks was open a bit later, it was only open until 6 we would have like to be able to stop in for thing a bit later.

My stay started with a broken door lock which was fixed within one hour of checking in. Bathroom door is also stuck and had to be pushed very hard to close.

I did not like the fact there wasn’t a restaurant or continental breakfast in the hotel. I only stayed one night due to a tournament for my grandson. When I got to my room, the unit was blowing out cold air even when I tried to turn on the heat. It was very cold in Myrtle Beach this weekend. Maintenance had to replace the heat/air unit. There were no chairs to sit in the two rooms I booked.

The hotel was fine but just fine, the bedroom was clean but the kitchen area in the room looked a little gross and at night there is a pizza place/club at night that makes to much noise that you hear it from your bedroom. The view of the ocean was nice and the bed was clean but the overall experience was only fine not great and they make you wear a yellow wrist band on property at all times like if you were in a hospital. Not a great look. Ghetto guests that would stay on the property would make a lot of noises in the hallways as well. Myrtle Beach was OK but it feels like it’s a dying city. At least where I stayed.

The rooms were recently updated which was nice and what attracted me to this resort; however, the bathroom was not up to par. The shower floor was dirty and the soap holder had been ripped off the shower wall at one point and caulked backed on. We rented an ocean front room but the bars on the balcony were taller than me and I’m 5’7. Obstructed our view and made us feel like we were in jail. Definitely not worth the money I paid to have an ocean front room. The resort also advertised breakfast available for purchase but when you ask where the breakfast area is they inform you breakfast is only available if you book a 90 min tour for time shares. No thanks! There was a friendly’s restaurant across the road that served breakfast but they were also there trying to get you to purchase a time share for our resort. The staff we nice and welcoming. The location was mediocre. I will most likely not stay at this resort again.

Pretty good overall. Only concern is the rate was considerably higher than comparable places, and for that higher price no breakfast included. I would have thought the $19.99 resort fee would have at last included that, but it wasn’t. Not the greatest value. Bed was super comfy though.

There was no WiFi and no staff to help me address the issue. I was told someone would come to help and no one did. Also cold shower was unacceptable.

I enjoyed my stay, I liked that they had so many activities on site which kept me kinda busy. I enjoyed Pilates, Karaoke with Jaheim, painting and tie dye shirt making. Didn’t really like the restaurant options in the area. None were really healthy but I enjoyed my stay over all. Property was clean and staff were welcoming

We were put in 601b and had a crazy lady and family next door, called operator several times NO ANSWER,NONE. We are a civilized couple with a need to relax, had a QUIET PUP with us who was staring at all this screaming! She even had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on her half open door. We will not recommend this place to anyone and we all travel with! The grounds are lovely and well kept but you dumped us in an awful room, this villa was supposed to be renovated,check it out,plaster falling etc but dumping us next to a crazy took us terrible service, placement SHAME ON YOU! Horrible horrible horrible! The customer service is lack luster, I booked the hotel room tried to call to cancel after I tested myself for covid got told i will get a full refund. I heard nothing back no money refunded called again and they said they could not help me call back at another time. So I called again and emailed them well, I was told I can’t get any refund and there was nothing they could do for me. How rude worst experience ever I will never book a room with them again or Go through Expedia and for sure will voice my opinions to others!

The property was nice. I actually expected the rooms to be more updated. There needs to be a single chair in all rooms. A note or sign should be placed near all elevators telling guest to swip room card to activate elevators. My family and i was on the property for 6 days and had rooms in two different buildings. We continued to see long lines at elevators because they were unaware to swipe their room key first. Also i was really disappointed that there was no dog area with grass. Animals need a open place to run, poop and urinate. I had to walk several blocks over to find a grass area to allow my shih tzu to have a patch of grass. Also breakfast should be served to everyone daily. Lastly the 90 minutes presentation was over 4 hours! Very misleading. Wingate needs to make all guest aware of the new time frame. My husband and I was kept from 930am til after 2pm. Its HORRIBLE BUSINESS!! Alot of guest were turned off because we all felt forced and lied to. Other than that, the front desk was great, house keeping and grounds were very impressive.

The staff was very nice. We originally had a problem with our room looking out onto a parking garage when we paid for a deluxe villa costal view. But the staff was courteous and switched our room the following day (it was a weekend). This is a timeshare hotel but we didn’t get hounded by sales representatives. The restaurant on site was very good. We utilized the pools which were very nice also.
