The only major draw back was the loud neighbors that were awake until 2 am. They kept us up with the partying. Since no hotel personnel were on sight it was hard to talk to someone. Other than that, it's a fun resort to stay at.

Spring 2015

Nice low key resort, great option about 20 minutes away from Park City. All of the resort staff were helpful. Food at the resort was very good, and moderately priced. Had a great steak at "Z's," the on-site steakhouse.

Zermatt Stay March 2015

Publié le 21 mars 2015
Les + : Matti's
Les - : Beds and our room was kind of tight, smaller furniture in the room would help.
Situation : It is all about skiing at Sundance....
The beds were a bit soft for us. Matti's Bistro had the best pizza.... Which it was close to home we order takout too may times a week.

Excellent place

A little out of the way, nice place. We came to ski and rest after, so it was perfect. We used our car, but they've got shuttle to take you any resort. Both restaurants on premises are excellent.

Quiet Ski Resort

Publié le 5 mars 2015
Cute place in the mountains that offers a great restaurants and spa services and ski shuttle service to Deer Valley, Park City and Canyons. Shuttles were on time and accommodating. Restaurants had a good variety of food. Spa had great service, overall very enjoyable.

Nice property, terrible beds

Publié le 17 févr. 2015
Les + : grounds, things to do
Les - : Beds and noise/thin walls
Situation : Go see the crater at The Homestead and go to the Heber Valley Cheese store. Very interesting cheeses and very nice lady, good service.
I think Zermatt is a gorgeous property, even in the dead of winter. They have a putting course, which is basically mini golf without any fun things added, but we enjoyed it. We also played Shuffle board, but they only had one stick that wasn't broken and even that was crappy, so that was only semi fun. The bakery there is delicious, we both enjoyed our breakfasts. Matty's Bistro was alright, service was terrible, but food was decent. The one thing I was really upset about was our room. They put us in the first room by the door and it was SO LOUD, there is tile and between the maid carts, suitcases, and people and their kids screaming, it made for an unpleasant stay. Also, the beds were some of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. I got maybe 3 hours due to being so uncomfortable. The good thing was, when asked about my stay at checkout, I let them know about the noise and they waived our resort fee for the night. I don't ever ask for things for free, but I did appreciate them taking my concerns into consideration. All in all, it was an okay visit, but for $200 a night (taxes fee's etc...) I would maybe just shack up at the Homestead for $50 less.

Dated and Unresponsive

Publié le 16 févr. 2015
When checking into the hotel, staff was reasonably quick, however provided little information about the property. When arriving at the parking area for the room, the lot was full with people seemingly parked anywhere. After deciding to leave my car out front while carrying bags up to the room. When calling the front desk, they said park anywhere, which wasn't very helpful since there was nowhere to park. That evening there was a dispute in the hall between an "Owner occupied condo owner" and a couple other hotel guests. This went on for about 20-30 min with no response from the hotel as the other guests decided to go back into their room. When going to breakfast the next morning we were told there was a 10 -15 min wait despite the restaurant being less than half full. After about 15 min they sat us and the restaurant remained about half full all through the meal. 2 other groups were also very confused by the wait time as there were ultimately tables open throughout. Room was not cleaned during the first day until about 2pm when we called to request that they clean the room despite having the service tag on the door. After we returned to the hotel we quickly realized that they didn't change or wash the sheets but only make the bed and replace the towels. Overall not the best experience for a Valentine's getaway. Staff was seemingly unprepared for the amount of guests that were on property. I don't review places often however, this was a disappointing experience.

Quiet stay in a beautiful setting

Publié le 14 févr. 2015
We stayed here as an alternative to staying in Park city during a two day ski trip to Deer Valley. It was only 30 minutes away, and it was quiet. We had our own car, but the resort provides ample options to get to the Park city area for skiing and for dining in the evening. We ate at the bistro, and it was really good.
