There was no air conditioning in the room. When we talked to the lady at the front desk she said it was because the heaters in the pool were on to keep the water warmer. We tried to tell her that there was only a heater with a thermostat on the wall and no air conditioning. She again tried to convince us that it was because of the pool which makes no sense. We were moved to a different room away from the pool which was only slightly cooler. We finally asked for a refund and went somewhere else!

Older hotel that needs updating. At check in, no mention that the pool and water slides were not available - we found out by approaching front desk the morning after check in in our bathing suits. We would have booked elsewhere, had we be informed at check in. Very disappointing for my daughter and our family.

The hottub was left open while low and visibly dirty and discolored. And when checking out their machine wasnt allowing me to receive my damage deposit back . So now i am waiting for an etransfer for my damage deposit on promise .

The two door entre from outside to inside. The lighting in the room was terrible. The cleaning staff was banging on my door at 9:300 because i never placed the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Then they never returned until I complained on the next day. Just not up to par.

The stay was just average. The pool is wonderful for kids, but the room was in need of some renovations, too warm and no ability to adjust. Beds were horrible. Facility offers a free breakfast but with over an hour left for breakfast there was nothing left to eat, had to ask for cups and coffee as nothing was out. Second morning we went out for breakfast

The pool is specifically designed for kids which is just what we were looking for. Although it could use some maintenance and cleaning. The rooms were a bit dated but clean. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was also good. And the staff were all lovely.

I would have rated this ‘terrible’ instead of just ‘poor’, except that the restaurant and wait staff were amazing. The younger receptionists at the front desk were also nice and did their best. Now for the terrible part. I, and two family members, travelled from B.C. to Alberta to visit my sister who was dying. After a two-hour delay in Vancouver, we flew into Calgary and rented a car for the three hour drive to Medicine Hat. After checking in, we made our way to our separate rooms. The pool area was packed with people, and roving bands of feral children, both wet and dry, unencumbered by parents, were running around making noise and playing games throughout the halls. After about an hour of hearing them outside my door, I called the front desk. It was 9:20PM, and I needed to get some sleep to see my dying sister in the morning. The noise continued unabated until midnight! One of my relatives, unbeknownst to me, also called the front desk to complain at 11:00PM and was treated quite rudely by another receptionist who had just started her shift. While this was happening, my other relative, in a different section of the hotel, was experiencing a raging party that was going on in the room adjacent to her. She said people were drinking, yelling, and even verbally fighting, and folks came and went until 3:00AM. Wound up, we all had a only a few hours sleep. I’ve travelled a lot and this was one of my worse hotel stays, if not the worst. I cannot recommend.

The property was great and clean, the pool area was nice. The hot tub was out of order and there was flooding in a few rooms during the night so the pool area lights were on all night with a lot of noise from the repairs. Got very little sleep.

Excellent stay
Great family time in the pool. Awesome staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was vary big and the bunk beds where great the kids loved them. The best restaurant going with amazing East Indian food the best I have had in years. Will definitely go back to this place for sure.

within two weeks the deposit changed from $200 to $400, the tv was super old and didn't work properly, we had the power go out on us. the desk people were so rude. the hot tub wasn't working either.

Lovely hotel. Front desk area is updated really nice. Breakfast was great. Our room was so spacious and clean. Our only complaint was that the pool was too cold. Even the kids had a hard time swimming in it. Also the hot tub was cold the second night of our stay and is super tiny. But the water slide is fun and we had a great little getaway!

Well I cant believe they think they can charge $144 a night for this place. The shower had black mold, the tile above shower had so much water damage I thought it was going to fall in on me. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, toothpaste spit all over underside of faucet. They did minimal upgrades to building but rooms are old and in ill repair. Weather stripping on door was peeling away. Pillows were like empty of stuffing and no extra blankets for bed. Definitely wont recomend as there are nicer places for less money.

Called in advance to see if pool was running to ensure we would have that for our weekend away. Pool was ice cold when we checked in, I asked for a call around it and never got anything to discuss this issue. Gym was their nicest facility and it fully meets expectations for a hotel gym. Rooms were 27 degrees and when front desk was approached the solution was to try turning on AC as they controlled heat from main area and nothing could be done. Marginal at best for our little family get away.

We always enjoy going there! Great staff, clean rooms. Very accommodating as far as early/ late check in/out and giving rooms on the main floor with no stairs for me. We go every year at least 2 times. Great place!
