not a peaceful rest overnight ......
nice downtown location for that hotel. it has been renovated, but AVOID any Mountain View rooms !!! the windows give you a direct view on Main Street and its noises !!! breakfast buffet is small, located in another restaurant but same building. be careful on your parking location. double check with front desk if it is a parking dedicated to the hotel.

Chambre trop bruyante qui donne sur la route; Absence de double vitrage. Absence de petit déjeuner dans l'hôtel il faut se rendre dans un restaurant qui assure la prestation pas très agréable.

Bel hotel avec vue excellente
L'hôtel est de très bonne qualité et la chambre donnant sur le port, c'est très agréable. La petite surprise est liée au temps pas très bon en cette fin Aout et aux nombreux restaurants fermés!

EXcellent séjour
Séjour de 2 nuits dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles locales (méritées). Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Pas de restaurant mais profusion de restos sympas tout autour de l'hôtel. Pas de service de petit déjeuner mais copieux petit dej. (inclus dans le prix de la chambre) au Central hôtel juste en face. Simon's Town est une petite station sympa pour visiter la péninsule du Cap et nager avec les pingoins mais pas pratique pour visiter Cape Town ou rejoindre l'aéroport.

Roshana the lady at reception was friendly and accommodating. I turned up at 11pm steaming and was offered sherry which helped me sleep! She was so nice and made the stay all that more special. Special compliments to her. Peter

Free parking if you are lucky. Tricky to find the entrance, just drive on the big parking space on the right hand of the building and ask the Security wheee to go. Could be cleaner here and there but nothing to worry about.

Great hotel with superb staff! Unfortunately the water supply was lost during the last two days of our stay. No showers or toilets working - the staff did all they could to help.

Absolutely stunning view of the harbor! The staff is incredible from reception to housekeeping. Our room was ready early and they were so kind and helpful. The hotel is located just above what Sauvers, which became our favorite restaurant from the first night. Definitely recommend the boat company whale tour if you have a chance. Just across the street at cafe Pescado we had one of the best burgers (house made patties). We will definitely recommend to anyone and look forward to coming back.

Great staff!!
The hotel itself is ideally located and the staff are super helpful and can’t do enough for you. What let’s it down is the state of disrepair, particularly the fact that the key card machine is broken so every time you want to access your room a member of staff has to let you in.

Had a lovely one night stay at Simon's Town Quayside Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located near the dock where all tours leave from - kayaking, shark diving, etc. - as well as several restaurants. Staff was friendly upon arrival and room was comfortable with a view of the harbor.

Lovely little hotel with ocean views.
Loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the two lovely ladies on reception. The room was modern and ours had a balcony with great views over the ocean. It's located right in the centre of Simon's Town with lots of restaurants and cafes very close. A 5 minute drive to Boulders beach where you can see all the penguins. Definitely recommend and pay the little extra for the balcony room.

Perfect small hotel with amazing staff.
From the minute we arrived we were greeted by wonderful staff. Their friendly professional attitude was just delightful. The room we had was with a balcony and couldn’t be better. Views to love. I really can’t rate this place higher and 80% was due to perfect staff. Thank you, we will return.

The view is incredible. The staff so wonderful and on top of everything. The lovation is incredible. The furniture in the room was old and worn. The bed was quite hard. There was no hot water pressure in the shower on our floor (3).

Great getaway!
Loved our stay! The room was nice and the view was very lovely of the harbor! The staff was incredibly accommodating and fun to interact with! Even gave us special honeymoon bottle of wine and treats! We did see a baboon on the deck which was an added bonus! :) highly recommend!

Beautiful Simon's Town retreat.
Very nice place, excellently located for all Simon's Town's attractions. The harbour is a stunning view. The beds are very comfortable and the room nicely appointed. Highly recommend. There are plenty of restaurants nearby serving all day and the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Boulder's Beach for the penguins
