Told staff I rain water dripping from window, curtains were wet and water on the floor. She said she’ll come look at it. She never did. After ignoring it for hours, I had to report it to her again. When she finally came, she placed a couple of towels on the window seal and floor and told me maintenance guy is on vacation. She did not offer me an other room.

This place was so nasty I didn’t even stay there. The only room that they had to offer me looked like someone had broken into the window. The screen was bent up and on the inside you could see were the lock had been busted at some point in time. I also saw roaches in the room as I was leaving of my tour of the room when I decided not to stay there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Checking in they gsve me a smoking room. They went away ro give me another room and didnt return. Receptjon wss left unattended. I returned later and nobody in recption. I couldnt get in. Saw a number to call snd they were rude and said i interruped their dinner. Called anothrr central number and they said i need to call a local number which they didnt have. I gave up and found another hotel.

The outside door is hard to open when they look it at night. Also the bathroom is cramped. The door doesn't open all the way it hits the toilet.

I booked this to stay one night. We show up at 9 p.m. after a long drive to find that it's closed. We call the emergency number at the property and are told that their business hours close at 7. we are told that we have to come back the next day to check in. Unbelievable. Between Expedia and this property I do not know who gets the most blame but it was a terrible experience and I had to find somewhere else to stay on a moment's notice. I had to drive 20 miles away from town because a dozen hotels were booked due to an event being in town.

Thank you so much for your comment about computer use. We are trying to keep a positive environment and we have issues some issues In the past where people were misusing so we have to monitor closely the usage. This is a benefit for the guest.

The room was dirty and had a smell to it ..it easnt the room i daw online. They moved me to another room which didnt have enough towels tissue or amenities i was told to go buy my own stuff..the entire experience was terrible

Cleanliness of room was lacking. I don’t think anyone looked at the restroom because you could see dust and hair deposits on the head of the toilet. Not a deal-breaker, but what are the staff being paid to do?

Thank you for your response, however you are incorrectly speaking. We called out an exterminator as always when there is a possible case. They cleared the room twice and there are no bedbugs in that room.

Basically paid about double what it should have cost. Likely due to the recent Hurricane in the area. Got there after the office closed even though I had a confirmed reservation. Called during office hours but never could get a live person. Got there later in the evening and called the on site person who was away at the time. Asked if I mind waiting for her to return? Did I have a choice? Left standing in the parking lot until she got back. No elevator and the stairs are on either end of the building. Enter in the middle, wall to the end, then back to the middle. 3 times as I have a mobile office that I cant leave in the car. At this point I'm tired aggravated and ready for something cold to drink. Empty ice trays and no ice machine on site. Definitely not the place to stay for one night. Second floor smelled like old smoke even though its supposed to be no smoking. At least my room was. About half the rooms had a no smoking sign out side the door. The other half did not so who knows.

Had to get used to the office not being open til 11am but not a problem after getting used to it. Wish i had known earlier. BUT i rested well and enjoyed my stay

I apologize about the carpet. Right before the hurricane we had a major flood in the hotel. We worked diligently to get the rooms back in order so that hurricane victims would have a place to stay. We are taking every step to make sure that guest have a pleasurable experience while staying. Thank you for staying

They're under renovations. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. When I first open the door to room it had a little odor. I think it was like that because it had been close up. Spray air freshener and turn on AC everything was good. Shower pressure was awesome. Bed was comfortable.

Wouldn't Go Back
Asked for a refund and left, never made it to the room! It was almost impossible to get someone at the front desk to answer the phone.

It would be helpful if you would contact management at hotel and inform them of what issues are so that they could be corrected or that you could be assisted. If a guest is not satisfied we do everything that we can to make things right. We have not had anyone to come to front desk and ask for a refund that has not even been in the room and that we have not accommodated. Thanks for your input

First, I want to recognize and thank the property manager. She is professional, cares about her property, and is dedicated to providing a great stay for her guests. This particular hotel doesn't rank up there with the Ritz-Carlton so don't come expecting that. It is adequate and a great value for the price especially if you are staying long term (a week or more). The room was a good size, there's a nice little kitchen area, and generally the property is clean and safe. You'll need to provide cooking and eating utensils and there is a fridge to use. We did see a "bug" when we arrived but a quick squish took care of it. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a bed set because the covers provided looked bad so we didn't want to take any chances. I checked for bed bugs and there was absolutely no evidence so that's good. All-in-all a good stay.

Do not stay there.
First there was a white woman hanging out the second story window that did not endear me to wanting to stay there. Secondly the room was covered in mold it stunk horribly, and third I killed a huge cockroach before we left. However, the staff is wonderfully kind and the room actually looked clean (other then the one cockroach I saw), Plus the parking lot is very well lit, I appreciated that.
