Nous reviendrons au Rosso 23 sans hésiter. Hôtel accueillant et idéalement situé proche de la gare sur la place Santa Maria Novella et surtout proche des lieux touristiques. Seul petit bemol : chambre un peu petite mais néanmoins confortable magrés une climatisation un peu bruyante.

Très bon accueil. En français en plus. Décoration des chambres et de l'ensemble de l'hôtel magnifique. Bien placé. Super adresse!

“Hôtel ROSSO23 parfait”

Très bon accueil. Personnel parlant français. Possibilité de consigne gratuite des bagages si vous arrivez de bonne heure et également le dernier jour (nous avons laissé nos valises jusqu'à 21h00). Hôtel très bien situé : à 5 min de la gare S.M.N., et très proches de tous les musées à voir dans le centre historique. Hôtel moderne et très propre. Une seule chaîne en français et pas de chaînes payantes. Salle de bain très propre. Petit déjeuner simple, mais complet : viennoiseries à volonté, jambon, fromage, petits pains, ... seul bémol, le jus de fruit qui n'est pas un pur jus mais un jus à base de concentré. Pour le reste, tout est parfait pour un 3 étoiles. Rapport qualité-prix excellent.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel itself was in a great area and was clean and modern. The problem was my phone and the TV in my room did not work and when asked for a wake up call, I didn't get it. This could have been horrible had I had a plane or train to catch that day. The food for breakfast was just ok.

“Great Value”

We had such a great experience here. The hotel staff was super friendly and helped out with maps, restaurant recommendations and even offered to book train tickets for us. The hotel is in a prime location beside the train station which we used a lot. The hotel is hard to spot (there is only a small standing sign with the name by the door), so if you do stay here the hotel is in the plaza of the Santa Maria Novella church, if you face the church it will be on your right hand side. As for the hotel itself, our room was big (for European standards), modern and clean. Breakfast was great every morning and cut cost for us (it kept us full until around 2pm). Overall the experience was a good one, I would definitely recommend the hotel to my friends.

“Not impressed”

Great location. Basic rooms BUT the room stank of cigarettes, the pillows ,the bed & the towels. I rang to confirm that we had a non smoking room & was told the hotel was non smoking . It was horrible & they need to sort this out. Hotel receptionist dismissive about the whole issue. Ruined our first night in Florence. Good breakfast

“Fantastic location”

The hotel location, cleanliness and decor of the rooms is fantastic. However, the experience can vary hugely depending on which room you get. We were given a room that was so small that there was not even enough floor space to open a suitcase! I am not exaggerating!! I was very upset as we had a lot of luggage (we were getting married in Florence though moving to a luxurious, spacious hotel for the actual wedding day) and asked to be moved to something bigger. The staff on reception were very unhelpful and said that this was the size of their standard doubles. This was a lie as many of our wedding guests were staying in the hotel and their rooms were bigger. There are also no ironing facilities in the hotel (though there is a pricey laundry and pressing service) and were were told that it is illegal to have irons in the rooms in Florence by reception. Again, a lie and not helpful when the majority of our wedding guests had clothes they needed to press. I would still recommend this hotel as the building is beautiful, quiet and a fantastic location. It is the reception staff that let it doen completely. After our wedding we did return to the hotel for one night and the room we had was fantastic - spacious and with an unobstructed view of the Duomo. It depends completely on which room you are allocated!

“Lovely hotel, great location”

Loved the Hotel Rosso 23. Very modern, excellent location right on the Santa Maria Novella square. Our party had several rooms and we noticed quite a difference in room size. Some, having asked for a quiet room, had a very small room indeed. Literally a foot or so around each side of the bed. Our room was a good size, kept meticulously clean and very nice.
