Hotel proche du centre mais alors...
L'hotel est proche de la gare et du centre à pied : environ 10 minutes de marche. Le personnel est accueillant même quand on arrive très tard le soir, 00h30 dans mon cas. Par contre, la décoration de la chambre est d'un autre temps, les draps sont usés et le bruit est constant tout le temps : j'entendais le monsieur de la chambre d'à côté ronfler et parler au téléphone. Il y a du parquet dans tout l'hôtel et dès 7h, le parquet grince très fort continuellement. Il n'est pas réellement possible de se reposer dans cet hotel. Le petit déjeuner est bien.

Deux poinst négatifs: 1) chambre pas suffisamment insonorisée. On entendait ronfler le voisin de la chambre d'à côté ainsi que les pas dans le couloir à cause du parquet.. 2) un mitigeur dans le lavabo aurait été plus adapté.

Un mariage était programmé le soir de notre arrivée. Nos chambres étaient situés juste au dessus de la salle de danse...Je pensais que nous avions pris l'option " waterbed" mais en fait c'était plutôt " dancingbed" puisque nous n'avons pas pu dormir avant tard dans la nuit....L'hotel étant booké entièrement par les convives il aurait été plus intelligent de laisser le 1er étage à ceux-ci et non a de simple touriste comme nous...dommage car sinon la note est satisfaisante ( rapport qualité/Prix)

Hotel Best Western Royale
L'hotel est très bien mais compte tenu des photos de la batisse je ne m'attendais pas à dormir dans les annexes, en dehors de l'hotel, donnant sur le parking.

Hôtel pas assez vieux pour avoir du caractère, trop vieux pour rivaliser avec les chaines modernes. Rapport qualité prix médiocre si on le compare au Ramada. Toutefois excellent petit déjeuner (non compris), mais à 10 £ quand même.

Lovely penthouse
Great customer service, wasn't expecting to be in a penthouse when I got there but it was really nice room. Lots of space. I was made to feel very welcomed.

Great stay
The hotel is undergoing a bit of a refurb in the restaurant and so breakfast we served in the lounge, but for the price I paid, it was good. I was upgraded to one of the flats at the back, and these seems to be recently refurbished and are lovely. The pool is in a separate building and is unattended. The shower/changing room facilities are minimal, but it was ok.

Friendly staff. Clean room & nice feel to newly updated hotel. Good cooked breakfast but continental not top quality. Possibly because out of season booking. Staff happy to help when requested though. Parking is cheaper on the road outside.

The hotel stay and staff have been brilliant, they were all really friendly, and really very helpful too..I can’t fault the staff in anyway. We were given the chalet - it was really nice, the room was replenished in terms of towels and if any extra things were needed. They cleaned our dishes and bed was made everyday. Breakfast was good too. Stay was good. I did down rate the hotel because my husband got bitten and the bumps have come up on his arm since Saturday and they are itchy, we haven’t been around any pets and mosquito bites are different to what my husband and I have had - we did research on the bites and also what could have caused it, I also had a few bites too, thinking nothing of it at the time. But the hotel needs to check to see if bed bugs could have been present in that chalet, and get exterminators in if needed.

In the advert it says you have a pool. Unfortunately my wife went to use it a couple of times and there were swimming lessons going on with most of the pool closed off. Don’t say you have a pool when it was unavailable to use.

Usk is a stunning area but a 5:30pm check is poor (building is actually closed until 5:30pm). Just had breakfast, beans were cold (not even warm but actually cold). Poached egg undercooked, some of the egg white was like jelly. Ran out of toilet roll. Mattress on the bed as bad a mattress I can remember.

nice big room, although I wasn’t aware that the room was not located in the hotel but was instead around the back but was not a problem. Staff were friendly, housekeeper tried to come in twice even thought we had said no and there was a sign on the door to say no. Breakfast was good, although I believed the hot breakfast was supposed to be buffet but was instead cooked to order, which was still good.

Fantastic stay
Nice hotel. The rooms equipped with microwave, fridge & kettle. Small front garden infront of the room. Good breakfast, comfortable bed, closer to the beach. Nice & friendly staffs. Specially Kay & Noelia. We definitely return to this hotel in future. My 6 years old little one really liked it.

Upgraded to family chalet room, no swimming pool or restaurant had to go to the by near hotel where the swimming pool was disgusting hair long hair caught on my fingers and jacuzzi bottom when not occupied by couples on top of each other had a sandy bottom . Breakfast was ok but when went to the information regarding breakfast it was hostile .

Nice little hotel
Lovely hotel, you can tell it was refurbished recently. Staff were kind and polite and helped with every request. The area around the hotel is not the nicest place to be walking around after dark but once on either the promenade or main road all is good again

Very poorly renovated old property with limited access to hot water and very cold bathrooms due to drafty windows. Bed was comfy and clean. Breakfast, when requested fresh, was fresh. Staff were over run, but very pleasant and eager to help. Would not stay there again. Sorry.
