It was little expensive for what it is.I think because all the stuff going on this weekend(monter jam,middle of the map and pool tournament).They may have raised the priced idk.The staff is super nice and inviting.the rooms we're clean and comfy.But again for 200 plus a night..the Days in by the airport is half the price and only 5 minutes drive.we paid for the convenience and walkability to our destination.

Staff was very friendly and provided recommendations for places around the hotel. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. The hotel is very close to Wells Fargo arena and I would definitely stay there again.

I chose this for the location due to a concert at Wells Fargo Arena. It ended up being even closer than I anticipated, which was awesome. It was an incredibly windy day and there was a temporary buffer set up outside the door. I'm not sure if it's always there or not, but it was nice. The check in staff was super friendly. My only complaint would be that we were put in a connecting room. Not a huge issue, but wasn't expecting that and I don’t feel as secure. It was also incredibly loud being so close to the interstate but I can't blame the property for that. Overall it was a good stay.

The building is an older building that I have stayed before so I can understand the older building aspect of size and design. Staff was amazing during a blizzard and very accomodating. The main set backs to the hotel is the advertised amenities of laundry with now laundry for guests to use and vending machines which were nice but on the 6th floor advertised $1.50 for items and got charged $2.00, which the vending machine contractor should change. Front desk referred me to the vendors number but number was not helpful in getting my my $0.50 back, I think they count on people putting much effort into getting their $0.50 they were robbed of back.

Everything physical about this stay was subpar. From the single ply toilet paper to the de-laminating shelves in the bathroom. I’ve stayed in motels nicer than this.

Don’t plan on booking through Expedia again, we paid full rate on a hotel whose pool was and had been under repairs, Expedia advertised the room WITH a pool. We were not notified until the day before our stay, after other hotels w/pool were full. Our grandkids were extremely disappointed. Desk attendant told us, Expedia was aware of the pool repairs and should not have offered pool in amenities.we are done with Expedia.

It was a good stay other than a cup in the bathroom trash and it was a little dusty in areas of the room breakfast was good we try to extend our stay because we had car trouble and they wouldn’t let us even though we tried to extend at 8am otherwise it was a good stay

Your satisfaction is important to us, on a slow day the hotel would of allowed a later check out as you requested, unfortunately when the hotel has a large event and all rooms are booked, the hotel is unable to extend check outs past 12n. Comfortable home away from home.
It was the perfect choice for my daughter and I as we attended the Iowa dance at the event center. The front desk was efficient and knowledgeable. We even asked and received information on eating establishments. When we got to the rooms they were very comfortable And clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and then feed and well rested had a great 2 days in Des Moines.
