“Not So Much”

If you just need a room to get through a night near O'Hare it will do just fine. Other than that I would recommend staying somewhere else. Entire fourth floor smelled like cigarette smoke even though it claimed to be a non-smoking facility. Rooms did not give any real confidence of cleanliness but there were not really any major cleanliness issues that I saw first hand. It just had a old, dingy type feeling. Other than that it is in a safe location and the staff was friendly and helpfu and hotel is one of the more affordable in the area. It will get through the night but not much else.

“Affordable, but just shy of compelling”

This appears to be a not-so-refurbished Hampton Inn. The appearance of the building and parking lot could use considerable improvement. Breakfast was a non-starter, all sweets and your choice of fruit so long as you like old oranges. Coffee was weak. Desk staff was very helpful, the evening clerk poured hot water from the kitchen so that I would not need to use the microwave for my ramen noodles, very nice. Airport shuttle on time. A shame that with some cosmetic touches and attention to detail, this could be a preferred stay.

“Best quality/price deal”

This is a very nice and comfortable place that offers a very convenient stay all year long. It is only 20-30 minutes away from Chicago's major attractions, according to the traffic. Although this means that you must be driving to go to the city, you're never going to find such a convenient offer near downtown. The suburb around is not the best: this is the place that you will choose if you' re planning to spend most of the time downtown and you're not afraid to drive back to the hotel at the end of the night.

Hotel was nice, a little older than I usually prefer. It was farther from the airport than I would have liked.

Service was awesome, room was clean, just needs a little updating. Location was central, close to the airport. The only "complaint" is that hotel lobby temperature was warm and the elevators felt like a sauna.

“Good hotel for the price”

Overall, the stay was good. The room was a good size and it was clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the complimentary hotel shuttle is definitely the convincing factor for me, along with the price. If this hotel wasn't in the middle of industrial city, I would have given this hotel a higher rating.

“Saved at least $100 with complimentary hotel shuttle”

Having been my first time in Chicago, I was not ready for the extremely high price of taxis. Since this hotel is on the outshirts of the city, I needed to either take a taxi to my destinations or use the "L" train. The "L" was much more affordable, but the closest stop is at the airport. The QI offers a complimentary hotel shuttle to and from the hotel at any hour which saved me at least $100 during my 2.5 day stay. I would take shuttle form hotel to O'Hare, then take the "L" into downtown. On return, I took the "L" back to O'Hare and called the hotel for the shuttle to pick me up again. Very convenient!
