Je suis resté une semaine à cet hôtel. Dans l'ensemble il est agréable. J'ai eu quelques soucis des mon arrivée (toilettes et évier bouché) mais le personnel à été réactif et le problème était résolu le lendemain. Le restaurant est agréable mais un peu cher. La climatisation est ancienne et fait du bruit quand elle se déclenche. La piscine est grande.

I will have maintenance check the temperature on the pool, we do log that everyday. If it needs to be adjusted, he will do so. As for your water temperature issues in your room. I am sorry to hear it was not adjusting properly. Had this been brought to our attention we could have offered you another room. We want all of our guests to have a nice comfortable stay. We stayed at the Indigo because we were visiting friends who lived in the area. it is clearly a suburban hotel catering to the business visitors for the corporate campuses in the area. The hotel is clean and attractive, and I made good use of the "fitness studio" which had a good assortment of equipment. The food offerings are limited, but given the selection of restaurants in the area, that was not even a minor annoyance. I do have two substantial comments on the hotel: 1) The layout of the rooms are awkward. There is plenty of space to put the furniture, and the bathroom, but the way things are laid out does not allow something as simple as putting up the suitcase stand in a convenient place that does not block something else. Also, the shower/toilet room is so small that you have to move behind the door to close it...neither is a big deal, but it was just strange. 2) It might have been a "one time" thing, but the security on the site was a bit lackadaisical on the morning of Feb 10th. While I was waiting in the lobby I was approached by a man who appeared disoriented and smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. It is unusual to see homeless people in that part of Lake County, but not unheard of, so I assumed that was his situation. After a brief conversation it became apparent he was looking for a "hook up", and quickly went to the elevators after I made it clear I was not a candidate. When I returned to the hotel about 4 hours later, he was still in the lobby.

Room had strong cigarette smell. The bed was lumpy. There was one serving of coffee available. You had to go to front desk to get ice. The rooms were not cleaned even after putting out service requested sign. There was no shower wash left in container. I purchased a parfait and it was not edible - not fresh

We are not sure if the issues you experienced were brought to our attention while you were here. The staff is empowered to make things right. We would have welcomed the opportunity to do so. On that note, we do not have door hangers that request service. We have "Do not disturb" door hangers and "A Greener Stay, no housekeeping needed" door hangers. Both of which would explain why you did not get housekeeping service. Again if you ever need anything please see the Front Desk or call the Front Desk. We are here for our guests 24 hours a day. The folks at Hotel Indigo couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. The only negative remark I have is that the room I was in for 8 nights needs to be renovated. The area rug by the couch was torn, for one thing. If I were in the management, I would make certain that each room was ‘perfect’ before the guest checks in. I reviewed the room when I first checked in and mistakenly claimed there was no little bottles of shampoo, etc. and I take that back. What they have is even better and less wasteful, which is larger bottles anchored to the wall!! Much better than the little bottles, which people sometimes take.

Substandard experience
We came to town for the Navy graduation ceremony and to spend time with our graduate. Upon arrival we were checked in by a very friendly but new employee. Our room: cracked tiles and mold in the shower, water damage to the floor by the AC, the floor was raised and uncomfortable to walk on, the shower had one setting which was pressure washer level and extremely uncomfortable, we had to buy a new shower head from Lowe’s to take a shower. The glasses didn’t appear clean. At reception there was a leak filling two large trash cans. The 2nd set of automatic doors wouldn’t open and the maintenance team was standing chit chatting. We manually opened the doors to get inside and they asked how we did that? We placed an order and waited 15 minutes for the bar tender to come back out from where ever and then took someone else’s order, so we left. Our order had been placed with another employee who took it back to the bartender. The walls are very thin and we could hear conversations from multiple doors down in and outside the room. The person in the room above we could hear using the restroom, not just the flush. We have stayed at other Indigo Hotels and unfortunately this one does not measure up to the normal standards of the IHG brand.

Worst hotel experience ever. No parking in front, had to park in the back and walk around to the front as it was getting dark. In the room we discovered 1”swimming worms in the toilet. The back of the toilet seat was grungy, had not even been wiped. Needless to say we did not use the toilet or the shower, got up early and left. Paid for 2 nights and left after one, only stayed because when we arrived we did not have time to book another room. Then had to pay for another night at a different clean hotel.

Comfortable room - bed and sofa with plenty of space. Great location. Clean. No ice machines, but available from staff upon request. No microwave in room. Breakfast not included and not worth playing for. Overall good stay, would return.
