“no cold water”

Upon arriving late, I was exhausted from traveling all day and wanted to take a shower and go to bed. Unfortunately the water that came out of the shower, sink and toilet was very hot water only. In the morning at check-out ,instead of discounting my rate I was told..." that is strange, sorry about that" and was charged the full rate.

“Rude, unpleasant front desk staff”

The front desk person was rude to the point of eventual amusement and made for an entertaining Thanksgiving day story. She was unfriendly at check in and barely seemed willing to check us in. She did not greet us nor welcome us to the hotel. She neglected to scan the door pass and when we returned to have it scanned she accused us of demagnetizing it. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off the wall despite its newness and the hairdryer had a clump of hair tangled in the cord. We have stayed in this hotel numerous times before and were very disappointed in this experience. Time to find a new place to stay while in town.

“it satisfied our needs”

Above average hotel. We didn't spend alot of time in our room , or at the hotel, but when we were there, it satisfied our needs. Staff was pleasant, but some were hard to understand(broken english). Breakfast was good, but out of coffee on Sunday a.m. Location for us was good, price was right.

This hotel had everything that we needed and had a pool, hot tub and continental breakfast. It was very convenient to the places we needed to go and had an accommedating shuttle I would recommend this hotel.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Very satisfied with the stay.

“I'd Use Them Again”

I found this hotel on short notice. I needed something on north side. The name was reputable and the price was right. Plus, it wasn’t too far away from where I needed to be. The room was fine until I found the shower didn’t work properly. It had a standard shower at the top and another, lower shower, in the middle of the wall. The lower shower worked but the standard, higher up, shower did not. I stand 6 foot 3 inches, I needed and I am accustomed to using a higher placed shower. I reported the problem to the front desk that night and again in the morning before going to breakfast in the hotel. They said that if maintenance cannot fix it they will move us to another room. My wife told me maintenance came and fixed the shower while I was at breakfast. Two days later, while preparing to leave, I tried to shower and the higher head wasn’t working again! I was thoroughly upset to say the lease. I called the front desk and expressed my displeasure. They offered to change our room which I declined because I was on a schedule and trying to leave the hotel. Despite this problem I would try this hotel again.

Loved the hotel outside of Chicago. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
