Poor customer service even after finding unknown white powdery substance and empty pill capsules on our counter surfaces. Front desk apologized and said they hoped we had a good rest of the night.

Not on par with typical Four Points
My wife and I like to stay at Four Points when we travel, we typically find our stay to be top notch in all regards. So, I was very surprised when arrived at the Charlotte - Pineville location and immediately noticed it didn’t have the feeling of a typical Four Points, it seemed like an older cheap motel. It turned out it kind of was as when I checked out I found out that it’s been run as a Four Points for the past 20 years but was built as a Best Western. The room wasn’t any better. The lock looked as if someone had broken in recently. The ironing board pad and cover looked like they have never been washed and didn’t fit properly. The television technology was lacking and out of date and there were no working usb ports available. Very disappointing, Sheraton!

Our door lock extra latch was broken and the room smelled musty but we were only there for two days so we dealt with it. The front office (Bob) was very nice and offered to fix it but we declined. A couple of light bulbs were burned out. It was ok for a two night stay.

Average hotel with a decent price, location, and staff. Room was a bit dated. Bed was a spring mattress and ok. Microwave didn’t work. Tv ok. Overall might be a good choice for a bargain traveler.

When we got in the room there was trash on the floor from the previous people. Lighting wasn’t great and the bed was awful. Both my husband and I had a hard time sleeping on it. Most of the front desk people were very friendly.

Disappointing experience
We stayed two nights. At the end of the first day, when we returned after 10pm we found the room as we left it in the morning; wet towels, trash in the cans, coffee bags, bed not done. I called reception, they apologized and told me I should have requested the reception that I wanted the room to be serviced. I asked them if they have this policy written anywhere, they told me the staff had the obligation to inform me at check in, which they did not. The following morning when I checked out I complained to the staff and they told me it was my obligation to know that all hotels worldwide work with that policy now. So, it was my fault. Poor service for a Marriott.

Only thing I didn’t like was the air conditioning lol it got a little hot in my room because the air doesn’t stay on for too long but other than I highly recommend.
