I did like the location but did not like there was no couch in room and the water pressure was terrible. The shower water pressure was poor and the sinks water pressure was poor as well.

Not a walkable area since there are no sidewalks even to walk the 1/2 block to buy coffee. Staff was very nice to let me stay until 1PM on departure date.

I will get straight to the point on this review the staff was very accommodating in providing us another room when we reported a plumbing issue water shooting out of the back side of the shower head and wall damage that was present, as well as tile damage on the floor which was a safety hazard for cutting feet but promptly put us to another room. The property pool had no skimmer to use had mounds of debris at the bottom and floating on top of the water so we could not swim. At night crickets are either in the soffits or addicts and they're very loud so all you hear is crickets chirping in your room. Other than that was a room and a place to sleep or try to sleep

The supoosed free wifi internet service is horrible & should definitely be looked at. I tried to watch Netflix multiple times & it would buffer constantly.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the lady at the counter which I think may be the owner was VERY pleasant and amicable. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool was small but very pretty and clean. Next time I do business in this area I’m most certainly staying here again. Thank you to the staff Martin R. Newly remodeled, clean, quiet, large room, best price in the area, good fridge and microwave.. Unfortunately, poor water pressure in sink and shower, unfriendly evening front desk staff and no coffee.

Lone Star Inn is located not far from the highway, however it is a very quiet oasis from excessive residual automotive noises. It looks like a relatively new renovation...for example...no nasty carpeting...large flat screen TV...newly painted.

The property manger/owner canceled my stay- very inconvenience due to I had to find another hotel. The manager/owner stated I was mad due to the fact he questioned my guest for room.. and he heard my husband cursing as well as my self…which was not turn but he had it all in video..

Upon arrival at midnight we had to speak through a broken window via microphone to the desk clerk or manager. Never once allowed into the cool lobby that was pictured in the advertisement. After showing ID and giving credit card we were given our keys to our rooms through the slot in the window and instructed to go upstairs to our rooms. When we got there there were no bath towels. The rooms seemed clean but all the dirt was behind the beds. The drawers were filthy and needed to be wiped out before you could put your clothes away. Went back downstairs to request towels. The next day we wanted to try out the pool. The water was warm and filthy. The area around the pool had not been cleaned in years . No lounge chairs to lay on to town just chairs to sit on. Our sister who lived in town was not allowed to come and sit with us at the pool. I think they just did not want outside people to see the conditions of this property. They accused us of having a third person in this room when she was only the person driving us as we were there to visit her. I have never experienced being accused and not once did they apologize for the dirty room, lack of towels, the lack of hospitality greeting their guests through a broken glass outside in the middle of the night. I would never recommend anyone stay at this property. This is my first bad review I have ever left after a vacation and I am 61 years old. May I add I have traveled the world. No way to spend your vacation.

Eva, I apologize. Since we did not meet your expectations, we offered you a refund and to cancel your stay. You declined and said everything was ok. Our hotel policy applies to everyone, including people on vacation. Only registered guests are allowed to use hotel facilities. Everyday, I followed up with you, and asked you if everything was okay. You did not express your concerns at anytime. Once again, I apologize.

Stay was fine, but when we entered the room, the A/C was completely off. It was hot as heck! The shower made this uncanny high pitched noise that wouldn’t stop until the water was shut off. Other than that, my stay was fine once the room cooled off.

Not a Happy Camper
Great clean rooms pool clean sparking water Upon arrival I had one of my employees bring me a document that I needed since I run the San Benito bus shop. I recieved a call from the front desk asking me how many are staying in the room? I the answered the clerk 2 . He then advised me that he is seeing 3 persons and that I was going to be charged 10 extra dollars for the 3rd person. I then answered you got to be kidding she is only stopping by to bring me a document and is visiting and helping us get our luggage down his comment I will have to report it and charge you. I felt extremely uncomfortable and thought this was very unprofessional getting treated like if we were criminals and are doing something against the law or hotel rules which we were not.

I checked and even had Expedia Support verify for me, that this property does not have mention of or listing of us offering breakfast. Please let me know where you found this information, so that I may fix it. I would like to avoid this confusion for other guests. However, as you mentioned, you were notified at check in, that we do not offer breakfast. Once again, please accept my apology for any confusion.

Filthy rooms and toilet not working
The toilet did not have running water and we were without service for approx 15 hours. We were not offered another room, it took 2 calls to get this fixed. The shower was filthy, there were hairs on soap dish and the mattresses were very stained. We were able to See them because the sheets were too small.

I'm concerned about the problems you experienced at our hotel during your recent visit. I do take the review process very seriously, so it is disappointing that the review is Anonymous. I would like to look into the matter for you but I am unable to locate the reservation. However, we accommodate many guests each evening, and we strive to make their stay a satisfying one. We check and double check every room to ensure that you, our guest, are provided with a suitable living environment. The principal goal of our hotel is to provide dependable service to all of our guests at reasonable prices. Consequently, it's disappointing to learn that you're unhappy. Once Again, please accept my sincere apology.
