The property was clean! The rooms were very easy to get to, and the property itself was very easy to walk around. The bar was nice! Downside… 1-the fire alarm went off right around 9:00 at night. Fortunately, we were able to go to the bar and have a drink. 2-asked for late check out, and before the regular checkout time, housekeeping was already there knocking on the door.

Wonderful Stay
The staff was very friendly and even comped us an app and 2 drinks which was a very nice surprise. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Construction above the room, the coffee pot in room didn’t work, had to flush toilet multiple times. Had coupon for free drink at bar that was suppose to be open until 10, but was actually closed at 9. There was no pool, but could use the sister hotel pool down the street. The dining hall was connected to the rooms so either had to drive to dining hall to eat free breakfast or walk in 30 degree weather. I had asked for a bag to carry some breakfast back to my son and they wouldn’t even give a bag. I waited for sausage to get done and then there was no biscuits cooked for the gravy. When I tried to talk to front desk, the girls acted like they were too busy on their phones and their manager wasn’t there and just said “sorry” with shrug of shoulders. The dust from the construction above me bothered my allergies and I spent quite a lot of time with a headache due to all the dust and noise

The noise came from other guests from other rooms next to our room. The building is old, also its furnitures. The bar, Deep End, and the lobby looks newer, but not the rooms. There was free breakfast included.

This is not your normal hotel, it’s broke up in smaller buildings, which to me was nice. Our room was nice and definitely clean. It was in need of upgrading, the mattress was wore out and the tables a little skinned but they were currently remodeling that section. The place was full and you didn’t notice anyone else there. It was great.

We did NOT like our room. It was so so old and worn out. The breakfast area, etc. were just fine. Unfortunately we spent most time in our room so it didn't matter about the other things on property. Staff were great!!

Definitely coming back
After our stay two weeks ago in the worst place we have ever stayed. You guys gave us the complete opposite experience. I thank you so much for having some great customer service. Very clean rooms, quiet and the breakfast with hot items was a nice touch.

This was a comfortable stay. Although the property was undergoing renovations during our stay, the evening hours were quiet. The room was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the complimentary drink in the hotel bar as well as the pizza we ordered. We would stay here again when we travel to the Bloomington/Normal area.

What a Dump.
I had a reservation at this hotel for a year, due to the ISU Homecoming weekend. Therefor I was shocked to learn upon check in that the room I reserved was not available. I had requested a queen and was told that the only room available was a double. Very unhappy about this. Front desk did knock some off my room price, but only at my request. Secondly, our stay was not comfortable or quiet. The walls in building 9 are like paper, and we could hear every word of every conversation - all night long. In addition, every time anyone in our hall closed their door, our door rattled. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

Good: Property is well located and convenient. Rooms are clean. Mattress is very comfortable. Bad: Property and rooms show aging. Furniture and carpet are very old. Very bad: They are doing renovations (changing siding) on building 9. Very, very noisy from early morning until late afternoon. Nobody said anything when making our reservations. Only found out when checking in. First room had workers and tools inside. We got another room, but with people working outside, on scaffolding literally in our window. Loud music and hammering on the wall. Impossible to stay in the room. We asked for a different room, but we were told they didn't have other rooms available. I called the manager on duty (Mr. Keaton K.) and left a voice mail. Didn't even have the decency to return my call. Then in the middle of the night the smoke alarm went off for 10 seconds. It did it again after 5 minutes. It did it again 3 times. We called the lobby and they moved us to another room, on the other side of the building, with no construction. So they had other available rooms. They just lied to us. So they hided the renovations until too late and they lied about not having other empty rooms. I find this unethical besides a complete lack of customer service.
